After voters approved the creation of such a college in 1961, a team of visionaries used temporary offices in the Newburgh School (left) to develop plans for a campus on Haggerty Road. That campus greeted nearly 2,000 students in its first semester in 1964. e g e l l o C Today Schoolcraft College serves 36,000 students per year t f a on its main campus on Haggerty Road (pictured), its Radcliff r c Center in Garden City, a public safety training facility in Livonia l o and through online course offerings.
