DISNEY CHANNEL UNVEILS EXCITING PROGRAMMING LINE-UP ON REPUBLIC DAY

Mumbai, January 26 2011: The ever-cool animated characters from Disney Channel, Phineas and Ferb are all set to entertain kids this Republic Day with special episodes featuring their Indian friend Baljeet. Phineas and Ferb will lead the exciting array of programs set to air on Disney Channel on Jan 26th 2011, including the premiere of Kya Mast Hai Life movie, Ishaan special episodes, quintessential Indian story Ramayan- The Epic and Bollywood feat with Bend It Like Beckham.

At 5.00 pm Disney Channel’s popular duo, brothers Phineas and Ferb will be seen helping Baljeet with his summer school science project and a growth elixir for his vegetable-growing contest. Next they will try their hand at organizing romantic cruises to help Bajleet impress his friend Mishti from , and also with Rock n Roll!

The quintessential Indian story – The Epic, starring the voices of well known Bollywood names , , Juhi Chawla and Mukesh Rishi will air at 10.00 am.

As a special treat, fans will get to re-live all the fun and adventures of Zeeshan, Zeenia, Vir, Ragini and Ritu with the premiere of Kya Mast Hai Life Movie at 1.00 pm. The movie will recap the popular series featuring the lives of these five tweens and their friendship.

There is yet another treat, especially for Ishaan fans. Viewers can tune into Ishaan 2 special episodes from 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm where their favorite Ishaan, currently on his vibrant and musical road to fame, learns some life lessons at a boarding school boot camp!

The Disney Channel Republic Day programming feat will end with yet another action packed movie at 8.00 pm – Bend It Like Beckham starring Anupam Kher, Keira Knightly and Parminder Nagra.
