Started in 1994 by Herbalife’s Founder and First Distributor Mark Hughes (1956–2000), Herbalife Family Foundation (HFF) is committed to improving the lives of children around the world by supporting charitable organizations that provide good nutrition, one of life’s most basic necessities.

HFF’s flagship Casa Herbalife program provides more than US$2 million in funding and volunteer assistance each year to more than 90 organizations worldwide. Casa Herbalife programs support organizations in countries where Herbalife Independent Distributors and employees can be directly involved. “We encourage Herbalife employees and Distributors to volunteer at least four times per year at one of our HFF Casa Herbalife programs worldwide,” says HFF Executive Director Robyn Browning.

How does HFF know where to open a new Casa Herbalife program? There’s a special review process, and employees and independent Distributors recommend many of the existing organizations. The program is named after the original Casa Herbalife orphanage built in Brazil by Mark Hughes. Today, HFF Casa Herbalife programs provide much-needed grants to carefully selected organizations in local communities that serve the most vulnerable children.
