He is 41-6 in OVC play. coach on Dec. 8, 2019. Grass’ unprecedented start to his collegiate head coaching career Norvell spent the previous four seasons as the head coach has seen the 1990 JSU graduate win five-straight OVC titles, while also at Memphis, compiling a record of 38-15, including the 2019 American becoming the first person to claim the Roy Kidd OVC Coach of the Year Athletic Conference championship and a spot in the New Year’s Six Cotton Award outright in three-straight seasons.
