He had the direct responsibility for the creation of a change management methodology and the building and management of an associated global practice. He was responsible for advising two major countries in their migration from Soviet inspired centrally planned economies, subsequently receiving invitations to and setting up the first western consulting operations in these countries. After providing consulting support to the U.S. Department of Treasury, he was offered a Presidential appointment as Assistant Secretary, responsible for Information Technology, but elected instead to accept a private sector management position. This resulted in leading four different international consumer goods company groups through technology facilitated transformations, in the capacity of COO or CEO.
