Waste Prevention is one of the main principles of the current Connaught Ulster Regional Waste Management Plan.
Roscommon County Council has compiled the 2nd edition of the Repair and Reuse Directory to encourage people to reduce consumer consumption by promoting the repair of household items rather than disposing of them, thereby reducing waste generation.
