The Heritage Insurance Guide: What is a classic? It might sound like a silly question but what is a classic car? To many people they’ll simply think of any old car but in reality, the answer is a lot more detailed than you might think and a surprising range of cars qualify for classic car insurance. Short answer: 1982-1992 Retro cars are the next generation of classic, typically bought by younger enthusiasts who perhaps ind more established classics beyond their budget.
