Puram New Delhi-110066 PRESS RELEASE SSB BAGGED 11 MEDALS WITH HARDLINER TROPHY IN 26TH SENIOR NATIONAL WUSHU CHAMPIONSHIP New Delhi (16 Oct, 2017): Sashastra Seema Bal’s players have again brought laurels to the Force in 26th Senior National Wushu Championship. Team SSB have finished the tournament on a remarkable and impressive note with a tally of 4 Gold, 1 Silver and 6 Bronze, totaling overall 11 medals and SSB also lifted the Hardliner (2nd Runner up) Trophy of the 26th Senior National Wushu Championship. 26th Senior National Wushu Championship has been organized by Assam Rifles w.e.f 10 Oct 2017 to 15 Oct 2017 with active support from the North Eastern Council and Wushu Association of India held at the Assam Rifles Sports Complex, Shillong (Meghalaya). The tournament has brought together 839 participants including 588 men and 251 women representing 40 states and other teams from across the country. SSB Player’s have proved their unflinching spirit in sports and Team SSB have earned huge success in the tournament. 17 members SSB Central Wushu team participated in the tournament and 10 members emerged victorious and won different medals. L. Ranjana Devi, Anupama Devi, Deepika, Bidyashwori Chanu got Gold. Bidyashwori Chanu got Silver and Sonal Chauhan, Swmsri Uzir, Harbeer, Neeraj Kumar, Sushila, Sonu Kumar got Bronze Medal in their respective events. Shri Rajni Kant Mishra, DG, SSB hailed the achievements of Team SSB in 26th National Wushu Championship held in Shillong and congratulated all players for their stunning performance. -Sd- Public Relation Officer .
