Bmw F 750 Gs BMW Motorrad BROCHURE 2020. BMW F 750 GS. MAKE LIFE A RIDE. OVERVIEW. The BMW F 750 GS sets standards in the mid-range segment. Equipped with innovative features and state-of-the-art technology, the bike presents as a strong all-rounder that impresses both on the road and during excursions off-road. The striking design immediately identifies the Enduro as a typical BMW GS. The powerful engine with its emotional sound, the agile and precise chassis and suspension, the low seat height and the extensive standard equipment, including LED headlights or Automatic Stability Control (ASC), shape the riding experience. At the same time, BMW Motorrad offers a unique selection of optional equipment ranging from shift assistant Pro and Dynamic electronic suspension (ESA) to connectivity functions. The two-cylinder, 853 cm³ in-line engine delivers 57 kW (77 hp) and gives the long-distance Enduro superior riding performance. It is impressively powerful and particularly economical at the same time. Agile handling characteristics are ensured by the chassis and suspension consisting of a robust bridge-type steel frame in shell construction, powerful telescopic fork and an aluminium double-sided swing arm with adjustable central spring strut. Featuring 19- and 17-inch lightweight aluminium cast wheels, powerful twin disc brakes at the front and well-balanced weight distribution, the BMW F 750 GS is designed for cornering on country roads, for short rides after work or for big holiday trips. • How to Ride a Big-Bore, Dual-Sport Motorcycle Off Road
How To Ride A Motorcycle Off Road Riding Techniques for Large Dual-Purpose Bikes By David Petersen ( aka Mr. BestRest ) Reading this Article won’t make you an expert Off Road rider, but it might teach you a few things. It might give you a few pointers, and it might help you improve whatever Off Road skills you now have. This Article covers the Basics. It’s not a substitute for expert instructors who can take you to the field and give you 1-on-1, hands-on instruction. Why Did I Write This Article? (Some now call it a “book”) I wrote it because I want to raise YOUR understanding of what it takes to ride Off Road. I want to educate you and empower you so that you’ll be able ride to the places I ride, and do things that I enjoy doing. My purpose is not to sell you BestRest gear http://www.bestrestproducts.com. (By way of full disclosure you should know that I own the company). Yes, I make or sell gear that’s mentioned in these pages but I’ll try to avoid turning this Article into a sales pitch. If you choose to buy some of my Company’s gear that’s great, but that's not my motivation for writing. Every day I talk to customers who call my shop to place an order. During our conversations they ask my opinion about gear they’ll need for Off Road riding. They also ask me to describe riding techniques, help them with trip preparation, and more.

Page 2 1. 1980 – entering a new era in motorcycles. Munich. The BMW team were all smiles as they presented the brand‟s new production motorcycle at the IFMA international bicycle and motorcycle show in Cologne in September 1980. Here, under the critical eye of industry experts and the astonished gaze of visitors, it was clear that the BMW product developers‟ latest creation had hit the bull‟s eye. The brand new R 80 G/S – a bike designed to offer fun in spades with its ability to dive through the corners and clock up the touring miles – saw BMW Motorrad buck the established trend at the time towards specialist machines. The G/S in its designation referred not to “Geländesport” (off-road sport) but rather its “Gelände/Straße” (off- road/road) crossover skill set. 30 years ago the idea of the universal- use motorcycle appeared to be dead in the water. Clearly defined parameters of engineering and design were setting the tone for the mass market, but BMW resolved to swim against the tide. The Munich-based company created a new breed of motorcycle with the R 80 G/S, one designed to reverse the prevailing trend.
