2. Chinese University Scholarships 1. Chinese Government Silk Road Scholarships Scholarships: CSC scholarships are one of the most common scholarships awarded to international students. Provided by the Chinese Scholarship Council, this type of government scholarship is a initiative of the Chinese Ministry of Education to promote education, cultural exchange, political cooperation and mutual understanding between other countries and China. CSC scholarships can be partially or full-funded. The Chinese government also offers other scholarships such as the Confucius Institute scholarships, CAS- TWAS Scholarships, Chinese Provincial Government Scholarships and many more scholarships to international students. Undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students who qualify for a government scholarship receive a monthly stipend, free tuition and free accommodation during their study. The Chinese CSC Scholarship is a Fully Funded award that covers Full Tuition Fees, Living Allowances, Accommodation Expenses, and Health Insurance. The benefits of the CSC Scholarship: Undergraduate Program: CNY 2500 RMB Monthly Stipend, Tuition, and Accommodation are both Free Master Program: CNY 3000 RMB Monthly Stipend, the tuition is free and a room is provided at no charges. Doctoral Program: CNY 3500 RMB Monthly Stipend with free tuition and as well as the free room. 2. Chinese university scholarships: The majority of universities in China offer scholarships for students. These scholarships can cover your tuition fees, as well as the cost of your accommodation. Xiamen University for instance, is offering five different scholarships for international students so they can study in China. Undergraduate Program: CNY 500 RMB Monthly Stipend, Tuition, and Accommodation are both Free Master Program: CNY 1200 RMB Monthly Stipend, the tuition is free and a room is provided at no charges. Doctoral Program: CNY 1700 RMB Monthly Stipend with free tuition and as well as the free room. Confucius Institute Scholarships program for providing sponsorship to students, scholars and Chinese language teachers of other countries for pursuing a study in relevant universities in China (hereinafter referred to as “host institutions”). Scholarship Categories 1.Scholarship for One-Academic-Year Study Students 2.Scholarship for One-Semester Study Students Scholarship coverage 1. The Confucius Institute Scholarship provides full coverage on tuition fee, accommodation (Double room), living allowance and comprehensive medical insurance expenses. 2. Living allowance is granted by the host institutions on monthly basis. The allowance criteria per person are: One-Academic-Year Study, One-Semester Study: RMB2,500 per month Application requirements Application is open to applicant who owns a non-Chinese citizenship, aged between 16 and 35, in good health condition, (Applicant is currently working in a Chinese language teaching position shall not exceed the age limit of 45. Undergraduate student shall not exceed the age limit of 20) 1.Scholarship for One-Academic-Year Study Students This category provides a sponsorship for 11 months. Application is open to Confucius Institute (Classroom) students, overseas Chinese language teachers, Chinese language major students and excellent performers in HSK test. International students who are now studying in China are not eligible for the scholarship. Applicant should have a minimum score of 180 in HSK Test (Level 3), and 60 in HSKK test (Beginner Level). Alternatively, applicant should hold a minimum score of 180 in BCT (A), and a minimum score of 180 BCT (Speaking). 2.Scholarship for One-Semester Study Students This category provides a sponsorship for 5 months. Applicant should have no prior experience of studying in China, but have a minimum score of 120 in HSK Test (Level 2), and a minimum score of 40 in HSKK (Beginner Level). Alternatively, applicant should have a minimum score of 100 in BCT (A), and a minimum score of 120 in BCT (Speaking). If your Highest Education transcripts have more than one page , please merge them and make PDF file and upload it ,, remember to upload notarized copy . If you don’t upload a notarized copy, your application will be canceled, file size will be less than 3 MB. 3.Highest notarized copy of certificate You have to upload only your highest notarized copy of your certificate. Should be in official pad, should be from your previous university, should be seal and signature, merge them together and make one PDF file. file size should be less than 3MB . If associate professor or professor not available please takes recommendations letter from your department head, vice - chancellor, if no associate professor or professors personal seal available, you can university official seal. 6.study plan A study plan should be more than 800 words. But standard one 1200-1500 words, use new Roman times, 12 front , no matter research proposal or motivation letter or statement of purposes,,, headings name should be STUDY PLAN . For PhD students you can attached your research proposal .write your name in last page .if you want, you can add your signature, passport number, email address. But those are not mandatory 8.Foreign Medical Examination Form- You can fill the form by yourself and take a signature from doctor,, I personally recommend you to do the test because those test not so expensive. Because some university required those test. Medical examination form should be in 2 pages. Don’t print it one page with both sides. Should be single 2 pages. Seal and signature in photo mandatory,, in last page please use one seal where it’s written Stamp,,, you can use doctors personal seal or hospital or clinic official seal,, but please don’t use both, file will be PDF format, less than 3MB,, you can do your medical test or fill up the medical examination form from anywhere {Any Public Hospital, Any Private Hospital, Any clinic} no restrictions, 9.For published paper you can upload 3 published papers , you can chose the papers by yourself, merged all papers together and file size should be less than 3MB ,,, but definitely you have to write all your published papers name in CV , because your CV is most important,,,, 10.For others documents you can attach Personal Resume[CV] , job experience certificate, extra curriculum activities, previously scholarship certificate, internship certificate, ,,, but please don’t upload too much documents, because many documents can’t guarantee your scholarship, remember it’s china ,, so keep away to impress them ,,, only upload relevant documents,,, as examples If you done 5 job before please upload only recent or previous one or those which are related to your graduation study,,,, file size should be less than 3MB – Merge all file in PDF and upload in CSC application system. 11.Language Proficiency Certificate: IELTS/GRE/TOFE is call Language Proficiency. Specifically, our method integrates the intensity and depth information at multiple levels of spatial granularity. Firstly, a scene-level deep network produces an initial coarse segmentation, based on which we select a few potential object regions to zoom in and perform fine segmentation. The results of the above steps are further integrated into a densely connected conditional random field that learns to respect the appearance, depth, and spatial affinities with pixel-level accuracy. In addition, we create a new RGBD waste object segmentation dataset, MJU-Waste, that is made public to facilitate future research in this area. The efficacy of our method is validated on both MJU-Waste and the Trash Annotation in Context (TACO) dataset.
