The contributions Identified in the complaint raised the Issue of whether some of the recipient committees, the susb-.Quayle t92 Primary Committee, the John McCain Re-Election Comitte, and the Dornan for Congress Committee, accepted contributions vhich exceeded TECA limits. Zn response to the complaint. Mr. Funk states that due to inadvertence, he exceeded his $25,000 annual limit for 1992. Mr. Funk also states that he has taken steps to maintain adequate records which will prevent reoccurrence in the future. The Bush-Quayle '92 Primary Committee responds that Mr. Funk made a $400 contribution to the Committee on December 20, 1991, a $500 contribution on February 26, 1992 and a $600 contribution on N. November 16, 1992. The Committee states that on December 10, 1992, the Committee received Mr. Funk's written authorization to redesignate $500 from his November 16, 1992, contribution to the Compliance Committee.
