Private Nursing and MPHW(M) Training Schools in the State for Academic Session 2020-21 Haryana Government Gazette EXTRAORDINARY Published by Authority © Govt. of Haryana No. 130-2020/Ext.] CHANDIGARH, THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2020 (BHADRA 19, 1942 SAKA) HARYANA GOVERNMENT MEDICAL EDUCATION AND RESEARCH DEPARTMENT Notification The 10th September, 2020 No. 21/23/2018-6HB-IV.— Subject:- Procedure for admission to ANM, GNM & MPHW(M) courses in Government/ Private Nursing and MPHW(M) Training Schools in the State for Academic Session 2020-21. **** 1. The Governor of Haryana is pleased to notify the admission procedure in supersession of all the earlier notifications issued in this regard, to be adopted for admission to ANM, GNM & MPHW(M) courses in Government/Private Nursing and MPHW(M) Training Schools in the State for all seats for academic Session 2020-21. 2. It is notified that all the seats in Government Nursing/MPHW(M) Schools will be filled up as per the State Reservation Policy. It is further notified that in Private Nursing/MPHW(M) Schools covered under this notification, 50% of the seats will be filled under State Quota (Open Merit Category) and 50% seats will be under Management Category. The State Reservation policy shall be applicable to all the State Quota Seats (Open Merit Category Seats) in Private Nursing/MPHW(M) Schools. The candidate applying under PWD category shall have to get the disability certificate issued by the Medical Board from the Civil Hospitals/Government Medical College. Reservation for EWS category shall be provided as per Haryana Government notification 25.2.2019 (Annexure ‘I’). The candidates will be required to submit income and assets certificate issued from competent Authority as per (Annexure-A) of the notification dated 25.02.2019. 3. The Haryana Nurses and Nurse Midwives Council, Panchkula is authorized to conduct online Combined Centralized Counselling as per the merit drawn on the basis of qualifying examination i.e. 10+2 for admission to ANM, GNM & MPHW (M) courses in Government/Private Nursing and MPHW(M) Training Schools in the State subject to verification of eligibility and original documents at the allotted institute. (1875) 1876 HARYANA GOVT. GAZ. (EXTRA.), SEPT. 10, 2020 (BHDR. 19, 1942 SAKA) 4. The admission shall be made in only those Nursing Institutes which have obtained NOC/LOP from State Government and affiliation from Haryana Nurses & Nurse Midwives Council. Admissions shall only be made in only those MPHW(M) Schools who have valid NOC/LOP from the State Government. The tentative seat distribution of ANM, GNM & MPHW(M) courses in Government/ Private Nursing and MPHW(M) Training Schools in the State for all seats for academic Session 2020-21 is annexed as (Annexure-II). The distribution of seats may vary, candidates are advised to check www.haryananursescouncil.com and www.dmerharyana.org from time to time. 5. It is further notified that all the students desirous of seeking admission to ANM/GNM/MPHW(M) courses will have to get registered online through web portal managed by Haryana Knowledge Corporation Limited (HKCL). The details of web portal including dates for inviting online applications and counselling schedule will be duly publicized as well as uploaded on the website of the Haryana Nurses and Nurse Midwives Council, Panchkula i.e. www.haryananursescouncil.com and on the website of Directorate of Medical Education and Research i.e. www.dmerharyana.org. The candidates are required to visit the websites regularly for latest updates. 6. Eligibility Criteria: GNM Minimum and Maximum age for admission will be 17 and 35 years on or before 31st December, 2020. There is no age bar for ANM/LHV courses. Minimum education: 10+2 class passed preferably with Science (PCB) & English with aggregate of 40% marks. 10+2 in Arts (Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy) and English Core/English Elective or Health care Science - Vocational stream ONLY, passing out from recognized Board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/ HSCE or other equivalent Board with 40% marks. 10+2 vocational ANM under CBSE Board or other equivalent board with 40% marks. Registered as ANM with State Nursing Registration Council. Student shall be medically fit. Students qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination or Health care Science - Vocational stream ONLY conducted by National Institute of Open School with 40% marks. ANM Minimum and Maximum age for admission will be 17 and 35 years on or before 31st December, 2020. The minimum educational requirements shall be 10 + 2 in Arts (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, and Philosophy) and English Core/English Elective or Science or Health care Science - Vocational stream ONLY passing out from recognized Board. Student shall be medically fit. Students qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination conducted by National Institute of Open School. MPHW(M) 10+2 with any stream. Minimum age for admission will be 17 and maximum age limit will be 35 years as on 31.12.2020 Note:- Only female candidates will be considered for ANM and GNM Courses. 7. Procedure for Admission (i) The schedule of counseling, admissions and start of classes shall be in conformity with the schedule laid down by Indian Nursing Council / State Government/Haryana Nurses & Nurse Midwives Council. (ii) Admission will be made through online centralized counselling from the list of registered candidates on the web portal as per merit in respective category and as explained below HARYANA GOVT. GAZ. (EXTRA.), SEPT. 10, 2020 (BHDR. 19, 1942 SAKA) 1877 (i) The merit will be drawn separately for the candidates having passed the different qualifying exam as shown above. (ii) Preference will be given to candidates in following order:- For GNM Candidates with Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) in qualifying exam. Registered as ANM with State Nurses Registration Council. 10+2 vocational ANM under CBSE Board or other equivalent from the School and recognized by Indian Nursing Council with 40% marks. 10+2 with Arts Students qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science Examination or Health Care Science- Vocational stream only conducted by National Institute of Open School with 40% marks. For ANM 10+2 in Arts (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Bio-technology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology and Philosophy) and English Core/ English elective or Science or Health Care Science-vocational stream only passing out from recognized Board. Students qualified in 10+2 in Arts or Science Examination conducted by National Institute of Open School. For MPHW (M) 10+2 with any stream in qualifying exam. (iii) In case of a tie between two or more candidates having equal marks/merit in the merit list, Candidates older in age shall be given preference. (iii) The choice of the course/institution exercised by the candidate at the time of online counselling will be considered final. (iv) The allotment of the school (no separate letter shall be sent) shall be made strictly as per merit prepared/drawn on the basis of merit and the choice/preference of the school filled up by the candidate on the online portal. (v) Personal appearance of the Candidates with all original documents shall be compulsory at the time of reporting at the institute. Attested photocopies of certificates/documents will not be considered valid for the purpose of admission. (vi) All admissions shall be provisional subject to verification/checking of eligibility for admission as per the original documents produced at the time of reporting at the institute for admission. (vii) In case there is a vacancy after the first round of counselling due to any reason, such seats will be filled up during the second round of counselling by the same process. However, if the seats still remain vacant even after the two rounds of counselling then left over seats will be filled up by mop up round of counselling. (viii) The institute shall report and confirm the admission of candidates online on the web portal and forward a list of admitted candidate through email to the Haryana Nurses & Nurse Midwives Council. (ix) The Registration cum Counselling fee shall be as under: Rs. 1000/- for Unreserved Category. Rs. 750/- for BC-A & BC-B of Haryana, PWD, FF, ESM, EWS Category. Rs. 500/- for SC/ST Category of Haryana. (x) The Registrar HNNC will be responsible for taking decisions for admission related matters like supervision of Admission Web portal, conduct of counseling, allocation of seats etc. in accordance with the Government Policies and existing rules and regulations. (xi) The Director Medical Education and Research, Haryana will be the final Appellate Authority in all admissions related disputes for all Institutions and his decision shall be the final. 8. Fee a. The Fee structure for the entire course is as under:- ANM- Rs 1,37,800/- GNM- Rs 1,98,200/- MPHW(M)- Rs 94,000/- The detailed fee structure of ANM and GNM is attached at Annexure- III The candidate will deposit the fee to the concerned institution at the time of admission and the demand draft should be in the name of the concerned institution. 1878 HARYANA GOVT. GAZ. (EXTRA.), SEPT. 10, 2020 (BHDR. 19, 1942 SAKA) The Fee will be payable on annual basis and the institutes shall not insist upon the candidates to deposit fee for the entire course in advance. The fee shall be refunded/adjusted if the candidate is shifted from one institute to another be it Private to Government or Private to Private Institute in the subsequent counselling. If the said fee is not refunded/adjusted within 15 days they said institution will be liable to pay Bank Interest as well as penal interest to the said students as per existing privileges Rules of Reserve Bank of India .
