Personal hygiene products and medical items can be kept discreetly in a pouch inside your clear bag. Bag searches will still be carried out upon entry.

The clear bag policy is in place for your safety. **

MEDICAL ITEMS

If you need to bring medication into Manchester Pride Live, you will need to provide a doctor’s or hospital letter. We cannot make exceptions for this rule, so please ensure you have yours with you. There are managed, and fixed, capacities at all of the Manchester Pride Festival event sites across the city to ensure the health and safety of everyone in attendance and it is vital that guests arrive early as space in each particular arena or event cannot be guaranteed. If you would like to see a specific artist, please arrive early and make sure you are in the arena with ample time. The majority of people arrive at least 1 hour prior to the headliner’s performance time. Should we reach capacity, we operate a 1 in 1 out policy. Please note that your ticket guarantees you access to the event, but does not guarantee that you can watch a particular artist.

This policy applies to events at Manchester Pride Live, the Gay Village Party & The Superbia Weekend.

8. GAY VILLAGE PARTY

Entrance to The Gay Village Party is included with both Gay Village Party tickets and Rainbow Pass tickets for Manchester Pride Live. Please exchange your E-ticket or physical ticket for your Manchester Pride Festival wristband before entering The Gay Village Party.

Please note: the following items will not be permitted past the entry points to The Gay Village Party:

Glass bottles Alcohol (The bye-law prohibits street drinking outside the Event.) Sharp objects Laser pens Selfie sticks Bicycles

You are able to bring your own food into the Gay Village Party.

BAGS

Although bags are allowed, we ask that you don’t bring anything larger than A4 size.

No rucksacks will be allowed into the Gay Village Party, however bum bags or other small bags are fine. Bags will be searched upon entry to both The Gay Village Party and Manchester Pride Live at Mayfield - we’d recommend not bringing a bag at all, or bringing as small a bag as possible as this will allow you faster access into both event sites. Less queue time = more time to celebrate!

PET ACCESS

We would advise against bringing animals into the Gay Village Party for animal welfare purposes - the event site can be incredibly noisy and loud for animals, and we’d hate for your dog’s ears to hurt!

If you’re a resident and you’d like to bring a dog then we'd suggest going to Sackville Gardens through the day, as this tends to be a little less busy with reduced noise levels, some grassy areas and spaces to sit.

We may restrict access for pets into arenas. CAPACITIES
