2019 Season Highlights

Oracle Park: The Giants and Oracle announced in January that they signed a 20-year partnership providing Oracle with the to the ballpark through 2038.

Highlights of the agreement include:

 Ballpark Capital & Technology Upgrades: Oracle will partner with the Giants to invest in a of improvements to over the next five years, including the addition of a new state-of-the-art scoreboard and signage. The Giants and Oracle will also utilize emerging technologies to create unique experiences for fans.  Community Programs: The Giants and Oracle will develop a signature community outreach program.  Hospitality and Experiential: Together Oracle and the Giants will build unique sports hospitality experiences to engage Oracle customers and members of the community.

Oracle and the Giants have a longstanding partnership. Together the two companies have embarked on numerous promotional, advertising and philanthropic efforts. For example, for the past 15 years, Oracle sponsored the Giants Community Spotlight, an in-game scoreboard feature, which raises awareness for issues and causes important to the Bay Area community and highlights the impactful work being done by many of the Giants’ non-profit partners.

Oracle has been a proud sponsor of Giants Enterprises - the wholly-owned subsidiary of the Giants responsible for the non- and special events for the organization. The annual Oracle OpenWorld CloudFest concerts have been hosted at the park for the past three years. Giants Enterprises also delivered the Official Spectator Experience for the 34th America's Cup held in in 2013, which Oracle Team USA won.

Events

Home Opener: The Giants will begin the 2019 season campaign at home when they face the on Friday, April 5. This day, steeped in tradition, will be the final home opener for beloved who announced at the start of that this will be his final season as the skipper of the Giants. He will retire at the end of the season after 13 years with the club and 25 consecutive years as a big-league manager. The Giants will begin the season-long retirement celebration by honoring the Three- Time Champion Manager during the home opener. The organization will also pay tribute during the pre-game ceremony and throughout the game to some special Forever Giants who recently passed away, including Broadcaster Hank Greenwald, Former Manager , Former Managing General Partner Peter A. Magowan and Hall of Famer Willie McCovey. The team will also honor the first responders of the devastating wildfires that destroyed many parts of the state and remember those who lost their lives and those who were significantly impacted as they begin to rebuild. Wall of Fame: The Giants will honor former President and Managing General Partner Peter A. Magowan on the Giants Wall of Fame. Magowan, who passed away in January at the age of 76, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer, will be the first non-player to join the 52 other Giants legends who are currently on the Wall. Bronze plaques honoring these players and their baseball contributions line the brick wall of Oracle Park along King Street for all Giants fans to enjoy. A date will be announced early this season.

1989 Team Reunion: The Giants will honor the 1989 Giants Team on Aug. 11 to mark the 30th anniversary since they won the West (92-70) and went on to play in what has become known as the Earthquake World Series against cross-Bay rivals the . The ’89 Giants led by Manager included Forever Giants , , Jose Uribe, Kevin Mitchell, , Candy Maldonado, Matt Williams, , Greg Litton, , , , , Don Robinson, , and Goose Gossage to name a few.

Capital Improvements

The Giants are embarking on a five-year capital improvement plan to ensure that Oracle Park will remain the classic and intimate ballpark it was originally designed to be while making improvements to keep it modern and vibrant when it celebrates its 25th season in 2024.

Videoboard: This season the game experience will be greatly enhanced for the fans with the installation of a brand new videoboard in center field. The $10 million project represents the largest capital improvement the Giants have undertaken at the park since it opened in 2000. This Mitsubishi Electronic Diamond Vision display will be the park’s third, replacing the most recent board, which debuted in 2007, and had become the fifth-smallest and second-oldest in . The new board will be 4 more than three times as large (153.28’ wide by 70.87’ high) with twice the resolution (4,672 x 2,160 pixels) of the former display, which will dramatically enhance the ballpark experience by providing greater access to content in the form of more in-depth advanced statistics and higher-quality video. It will also be the first “4K” display in MLB.

The Cloud Club: The Cloud Club will be located on the Suite Level and is a brand new way to experience premium sports entertainment at Oracle Park for corporate clients. This all-inclusive lounge welcomes those looking for a lively and immersive environment to enjoy the game, and a place to host guests where they can grow connections and relationships. It provides a flexible and simple way to entertain clients, colleagues or friends. The Cloud Club will be a place where the arts and are celebrated and woven into the atmosphere and experience from the décor to food and beverage offerings. The Club was created from the merging of six existing suites and will feature an interior bar, lounge seating and TV monitors. There are 60 exterior, leather, high back, heated seats. The Club’s capacity is between 140 and 150.

The Waterfront: This new space has been designed to create more social gathering spots for fans and to better improve the connection of Scoreboard Plaza back to the field. The destination was created by removing the last few rows of the bleachers under the scoreboard opening the views to the field as well as improving the eastern views from inside the park out to the Bay and beyond. It will be an ideal location for Ballpark Pass holders to gather and will include a new, premium bar set to debut early in the 2019 season.

Social Gathering Spots: The last row of seats in the lower box seating areas will be removed to create more space for fans to socialize.

Blue Shield Field Club: With many cosmetic improvements to this premium space fans will enjoy more natural light transforming this cellar-like area to one with an industrial, open design. There will be increased seating with greater flexibility to arrange furniture as needed for a variety of events.

5 Lexus Lounge: This former space, previously the umpires’ clubhouse, has been redesigned to provide exclusive field level access to our Lexus Dugout Club customers and an exclusive place for them to enjoy food and beverage. The wood paneled area will feature Grab & Go food items, bench seating and private bathrooms.

Tickets

Mobile Ticketing: The Giants have eliminated the print at home ticket and transitioned to mobile only for the 2019 season. Mobile ticketing offers fans a secure, convenient and easy user experience. Mobile tickets minimize the risk of lost, forgotten and counterfeit tickets, allow customers to access, share and upgrade in one place and scan quicker than a traditional paper ticket. Customers can access their mobile tickets via the free, recently updated MLB Ballpark app.

Season Ticket Members, Group Buyers, Box Office patrons and those without a mobile device are given the option to receive a printed ticket.

The Giants have made a conscious and concentrated effort to educate and assist fans with mobile ticketing. In advance of the game, customers can visit sfgiants.com/ballparkapp to download the app, access tutorials in a variety of formats including chat, video and PDF and review FAQs. On game days, Ballpark app Ambassadors will be stationed outside the gates and the Box Office will have windows dedicated to Mobile Ticketing Assistance.

Offering a multitude of features, the MLB Ballpark app is a fan’s mobile companion when visiting Oracle Park.

Season Ticket Member Benefits: New benefits will be available to Season Ticket Members during the 2019 season including 20 percent off food and beverage and merchandise at concession stands on game days and 20 percent off at all Giants Dugout Store locations. Ticket , the new ticket exchange program, provides Season Ticket Members with more flexibility than ever in managing tickets. A new game day experience program, exclusively for Season Ticket Members, features unique experiences around Oracle Park. Experiences include Saturday Field Days, giving Season Ticket Members the chance to play catch on the field postgame, pregame socials featuring Giants alumni, pregame happy hours and more. Ballpark Pass: The extremely popular Ballpark Pass monthly subscriptions are back for 2019. A limited amount (2,000) of every day of the week passes, and (500) weekday passes were made available to Giants fans and sold out in one afternoon. Fans wishing to register for the waitlist for this monthly auto-renew product can do so at sfgiants.com/ballparkpass.

The Ballpark Pass will allow fans access to Oracle Park for almost all regular season home games in 2019. The monthly, mobile-only subscription product is designed to allow fans to experience Giants game day from popular ballpark destinations, including The Waterfront, one of MLB’s new, unique social spaces located under the new Oracle Park scoreboard. Delivered exclusively through the MLB Ballpark App, fans will have the opportunity to upgrade to seats with their mobile device upon entering the Ballpark. Giants Ballpark Pass holders will also receive exclusive discounts and sponsor offers through their digital subscription. More information is available at sfgiants.com/ballparkpass.

SportsHosts: SportsHosts is an innovative start-up that uses sporting events to break down barriers by connecting visitors and first-timers, in this case, first-time baseball game goers, with local “hosts” to share their GameDay experiences. The “hosts” are current and often longtime Giants fans who simply want to share their love of the game and Oracle Park with new visitors, often traveling from around the globe. To participate in this authentic engagement experience, either as a host or a visitor/first-timer, you can sign up through sfgiants.com/sportshosts.

Transportation

Redesigned Transportation Website –sfgiants.com/transportation: As transportation in the Bay Area continues to evolve with new challenges occurring daily, the Giants are committed to communicating with our fans and visitors to Oracle Park on a regular basis in order to keep them informed and prepared with the best tools and information possible when planning their trips to and from Oracle Park.

 We always encourage our fans to take public transit, walk or bike to Oracle Park. However, we know that arriving by car, whether by ride share, such as Uber, or in a personal vehicle, is often your only option we want to make you aware of some new ride-hail procedures at the park as well as some parking limitations during the first homestand at Oracle Park. - Parking in Giants Lot A/Pier 48 beginning the day after our home opener, on Apr. 6 until the end of the homestand, Apr. 14, will be extremely limited. The only vehicles allowed to park in Lot A/Pier 48 will be pass holders who will be accommodated until spaces are full at which point they will be directed to Pier 30/32. - If you drive and are not a pass holder you can park in Pier 30/32, 1 Bryant, Lot C or take advantage of the thousands of parking spaces throughout SoMa in one of the area’s many independent parking lots. - Oracle Park has more passenger loading zones on Townsend, Brannan and Third Streets for an improved ride-hail experience. There is NO passenger loading directly in front of the ballpark. - We also want to remind fans traveling from the South Bay that has reinstituted their post-game express service to Millbrae. - Beginning at the end of April, there will also be a new and improved shuttle service from Giants Lot A to Oracle Park for fans who need assistance.

Media

In-Market Streaming: NBC Sports Bay Area will provide in-market live streaming of 160 games for the 2019 MLB season. Additionally, MyTeams features game day shows Giants Pregame Live and Giants Postgame Live, on-demand video, podcasts and written news and analysis. The in-market live-streaming service is available at no additional cost to authenticated NBC Sports Bay Area subscribers on mobile and tablet devices. Authenticated subscribers will have the ability to access games within the Giants

7 broadcast territory. Fans can download MyTeams for free on iOS and Android devices in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Giants Relaunch YouTube Channel: Fans will find new, exclusive, behind-the-scenes content delivered weekly throughout the season. New series include: “Chef Longori-YUM”, a cooking show hosted by Evan Longoria, “All Access”, exclusive content with the team on the road, “Who’s That Kid”, featuring up-and- coming prospects in the Giants organization, “Tattoos” players tell the story behind their ink, “Fusion Food”, the heat is on as players try unlikely food combinations, and “Flashback”, players react to past footage of themselves. Conversacion Gigante: The Giants will launch Conversacion Gigante, a sit-down, Spanish-language interview series hosted by Erwin Higueros, Giants’ Spanish-Language Radio Broadcaster. Each episode will feature a conversation with a current player, or Giants alumni about their childhood, their journey to the big leagues and their experiences along the way. This series will be featured on the Giants YouTube channel.

Social Media: With over 7 million fans across 12 social media channels, the @SFGiants experienced continued growth throughout the 2018 season. The #SFGiants Social Media team will reach the dedicated fans during the 2019 season by delivering cutting edge content, behind the scenes looks and engaging with the loyal and savvy follower base. MLB Ballpark app: MLB Ballpark app will be the home for in-game seat upgrades and the marketplace for adding special event items on game day. Giants Ticket Memberships can be easily managed through the Ballpark app. The newly created Cloud Club, Giants Ballpark Pass, and Weekday Pass are all conveniently managed within the app for a seamless mobile experience. Corporate Partners

In addition to the Oracle naming rights agreement, the team extended a number of longstanding partnerships including the renewals with Dignity Health (10-year agreement) and Levi’s (5-year agreement). Dignity Health and the Giants made history almost three decades ago when they announced the establishment of an on-site health care facility at the new ballpark. The Giants became the first major league baseball team to house a health center serving the surrounding neighborhood. The Saint Francis 8 Health Center at Oracle Park has served the health needs of the rapidly growing South of Market area, including residents of the South Beach, China Basin and Mission Bay neighborhoods.

The Levi’s renewal marks the continuation of this longstanding relationship between two iconic San Francisco institutions. The centerpiece of this partnership is Oracle Park’s signature right field wall, known as Levi’s Landing. Beginning this season, the partnership will include two new features: Levi’s 501 Friday Concert Series and the Levi’s Playmaker Community Program.

The Giants take great pride in developing strategic, results-oriented programs for partners of all sizes with activations that include brand marketing, promotions, community outreach, media and hospitality options.

Some of the new partnerships for 2019 include: National Car Rental, Safeway, Keysight Technologies, Super Duper Burgers; Gensler and Flor de Cana.

In addition to Dignity Health and Levi’s, the Giants are pleased to have extended their longstanding relationships with many key partners while welcoming new ones to the family.

Alaska Airlines Club Level

Organic Coup: In the former Bar San Pancho space, Organic Coup’s celebrated chicken sandwiches will now be available on the Alaska Airlines Club Level. In addition, Organic Coup will be introducing new organic chicken wraps with organic spiced vegetables wrapped in a whole-grain tortilla with a choice of creamy ranch or spicy BBQ sauce.

9 Organic Corn Dogs at Gilroy Garlic Fries Stands: New this year, Gilroy Garlic Fries stands will offer the Organic Coup’s certified organic corn dogs, made with a Rosie Organic Chicken dog surrounded in a sweet honey corn batter and served crispy golden brown. Available at all Gilroy Garlic Fries locations.

Dri Dri Gelato: Custom-designed in Italy, the Dri Dri Gelato’s ice cream is made with all-natural, GMO-free Italian ingredients to produce an authentic-tasting gelato that also happens to be dairy-free. At Dri Dri’s retro cart, custom-designed in Italy, fans can choose from more than a dozen flavors, including bacio with Tonda Gentile hazelnuts, pistachio with Sicilian nuts, and mandorla with almonds from Puglia.

Tony’s Slice House: Tony’s celebrated slices will now be available on the Alaska Airlines Club Level.

Mission Street Taqueria: This vibrant Mission-inspired taqueria will feature street-style tacos served with spit-roasted meats on hand-made tortillas.

Derby Grill: The plant-based Impossible Burger will now be available at Alaska Airlines Club Level Derby Grills, in addition to the Blue Shield Field Club Derby Grill. The new 2.0 formulation now gets its meaty texture from soy protein, not wheat protein; adds sunflower oil to the coconut oil for an improved nutrition profile (enabling it to move from griddles to grills); and is kosher- and halal-certified.

Murph’s Pub: New Irish Cheddar mac and cheese comes with a choice of toppings like bacon, corned beef, or broccoli.

Blue Shield Field Club

Mission Street Taqueria: A second location of this vibrant Mission-inspired taqueria featuring street-style tacos served on hand-made tortillas.

The Wine Bar: In addition to a great wine selection, The Wine Bar will now cater to beer lovers as well. Select 16oz cans from some of the Bay Area’s most celebrated breweries, including Russian River Brewing Company, Moonraker Brewing, and HenHouse Brewing Company will be available. The 16oz cans will also be featured on the Alaska Airlines Club Level at the Farmers’ Market Cart.

Promenade Level

Doughp: Heaping scoops of edible cookie dough in flavors like “Ride or Die” (chocolate chip), “Eminem” (M&M’s), and “Basic Bae” (confetti sprinkles). Doughp ditches the raw eggs and heat treats the flour so you can safely dive right in to this cookie dough.

Orlando’s Caribbean BBQ: In addition to the fan-favorite Cha Cha Bowl, Orlando’s will feature a new fish taco made with pollock, cilantro, lime, and chipotle Baja sauce and a chimichanga with jerk chicken, Swiss cheese in a flour tortilla topped with pico de gallo, queso fresco, shredded cabbage, and chipotle crema.

Pier 44 Chowder House: Now featuring shrimp po’boys with remoulade, lettuce, and tomato in addition to classic clam chowder.

Super Duper Burgers: The city’s cult burger has arrived at the ballpark. Made with Brandt Farms’ humanely raised beef and ground fresh daily, Super Duper Burgers are served on artisanal buns baked fresh in San Francisco. Located in the former McGraw Grill space.

Vintage 58: Now serving frosé in additional to local wines and international varietals.

View Level

Javi’s Cooking: Traditional Argentinian empanadas from Javier Sandes, who immigrated from Argentina and has been bringing his family-style cuisine to the Bay Area for 10 years. The menu will also include classic Argentinian sweets like dulce de leche and alfajores.

Pita Gyros: San Bruno-based family-owned Pita Gyros showcases Mediterranean favorites including gyros and falafel.

Garden

The Garden at Oracle Park is excited to partner with San Francisco’s Local Brewing Co. on a tropical blonde beer brewed with garden ingredients exclusively for the ballpark. The Garden Gnome, a passion fruit tropical blonde, will be served on draft. The Garden will also feature two new seasonal cocktails infused with Garden ingredients: strawberry-basil lemonade with Kettle One Vodka and a passion fruit margarita with Don Julio tequila. This season’s Bloody Marys will be garnished with house-pickled jalapeños, cucumbers, radishes, cherry tomatoes, and green beans.

Hearth Table: New flatbread pizza with bell-jar mushrooms, smoked mozzarella, Pecorino, garlic, oregano, chili flakes, and mustard greens. Fans can see the mushrooms growing in a bell jar in the display window. Two new seasonal salads include spinach with strawberries, red onion, toasted almonds, goat cheese, and green goddess vinaigrette; and Blue Lake pole beans with Castelvetrano olives, pine nuts, burrata, and red wine vinaigrette.

Garden Table: New Impossible Foods chili featuring Impossible’s “meaty” plant-based mixture, beans, tomatoes, cilantro, spices, and choice of onions, cheddar cheese, and sour cream. Two tossed-to-order salads have been updated: mixed greens (grown on site in the aeroponic tower) with cherry tomatoes, Castelvetrano olives, cucumber, shaved fennel, crumbled feta cheese, and roasted garlic oregano vinaigrette; and kale Caesar with sourdough croutons, shaved Parmesan cheese, and creamy Caesar vinaigrette.

Art Installation

The Giants Vault: Located just inside the O’Doul Gate entrance, The Giants Vault features rotating themed exhibits each season. This season’s exhibit will feature a tribute to the 1989 Giants Team as well as a look back at the 30th anniversary of the Loma Prieta earthquake. The museum space will also contain a wall spotlighting Giants players and managers in the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Alaska Airlines Club Gallery: The 25 displays on the Club Level commemorate Giants history, including some members of the Giants family who have recently passed away. Highlights include Katy Feeney’s Press Pin collection and Season Ticket Holder bracelet, and Hank Greenwald’s scorecard from game 5 of the 1989 NLCS and bat-cane. Also featured are the members of the current Giants Baseball Operations players and staff, and a look back at 10 years of the Giant Race and 25 years of Junior Giants Baseball.

11 Advertising Campaign

“It Doesn’t Get More SF” Campaign: The organization moves into the second year of our partnership with 215 McCann as our agency of record. The It Doesn’t Get More SF tagline will continue to be the central theme of our advertising and branding campaign. This season the Giants’ internal Creative Services team designed the look/feel for the campaign. It’s a modern, fresh look with a strong emphasis on our players and their last names. It also features cityscape shots as a nod to one of the most beautiful and diverse cities in the world. It Doesn’t Get More SF.

Community

Junior Giants 25th Anniversary: This season marks the 25th Anniversary of Junior Giants, which is the flagship program of the Giants Community Fund. It is a free summer baseball and softball league which promotes the Four Bases of Character: Confidence, Integrity, Leadership and Teamwork while focusing on education, health and bullying prevention. Junior Giants currently has 87 leagues located throughout Northern California, into Nevada and Oregon, encompassing 370 cities, serving 24,000 kids with 3,000 volunteer coaches and more than 2,000 team parents.

Retail

Fanatics: The Giants and Fanatics, the global leader for licensed sports merchandise headquartered in Silicon Valley, have teamed up for a 10-year omnichannel retail partnership which grants Fanatics the rights to operate all Giants Dugout Store locations. Fanatics, who has traditionally managed the Giants online retail through MLBShop.com, will now create an omnichannel retail experience for Giants fans on gameday and beyond, giving them consistency between items and a significantly expanded assortment of products regardless of shopping online, on mobile, at the game or in one of the many Giants Dugout Store locations throughout the Bay Area.

12 Uniform Patches: The players and coaches will wear three special patches on their uniforms this season. The patches will be worn on the right sleeve and will commemorate 150 years of Major League Baseball and to honor the legacies of two important members of the Giants family who passed away – Hall of Famer Willie “Stretch” McCovey and Former Managing General Partner Peter A. Magowan.

Green Initiatives

Green Glove Award: Having collected nine consecutive Green Glove Awards between 2008 and 2016, the Giants secured their 10th Green Glove Award in 11 seasons in 2018. The Green Glove Award is bestowed by Major League Baseball on the MLB Club with the highest waste diversion rates. The Giants diverted 94 percent of all waste at Oracle Park from local landfills. Through an aggressive recycling and composting program the Giants have seen their efforts increase by 37 percent since winning that first award 11 years ago. Recyclables and compostables include cans, bottles, plastic cups, cardboard, paper, wood pallets, electronic components, light bulbs, batteries, cooking grease, food waste and grass clippings. The Giants are the single largest contributor to the San Francisco Compost Program.

LEED Platinum Certification: Oracle Park is now a LEED Platinum Certified facility earning this honor from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) for EBOM (Existing Buildings, Operations and Maintenance) rating system is the foremost program for buildings, homes and communities that are designed, constructed, maintained and operated for improved environmental and human health performance. This LEED Platinum Certification for an existing building makes Oracle Park the first major league ballpark to receive this honor and recognizes the Giants and its partners, Able Services and Goby, for their efforts to achieve sustainability and efficiencies in the daily operations of Oracle Park.

Oracle Park and the Giants received LEED Platinum Certification for an existing building, one of the most challenging category certifications to achieve under the rating system, in the areas of sustainable sites; water efficiency; energy and atmosphere; materials and resources; indoor environmental quality; innovation in design; and location and transportation. The Giants are no strangers to the LEED Certification process having received both Silver (2010) and then Gold (2015) Certification in the past decade for their concerted efforts to conserve power and water, recycle waste and implement renewable energy sources and programs at Oracle Park.

San Francisco SailGP: The world’s fastest on-water racing will take place in the Bay Area on May 4-5 as six international teams will compete in , marking the inaugural SailGP stop in the . Giant Race Series presented by Alaska Airlines: The Giant Race will continue this season with its four-race series. The series was kicked off in Scottsdale (Mar. 2) and is closely followed by Sacramento (Mar. 30), both featuring a 5k and 10k race. The series continues in San Jose (Jun. 15) with 5 mile and 5k races and ends in San Francisco (Sept. 8). This year’s San Francisco Giant Race features a Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, or Kids Race/Family Relay and will mark the 10th year of the Giant Race in San Francisco. 2019 will be a year- long celebration of 10 years of Giant Racing in San Francisco. Giant Racers will get to wear the commemorative 10th anniversary logo on race apparel, and the Oracle Park area will host several special event celebrations during this historic year. Inside The Park Marathon: As part of the 10-year anniversary celebration of the San Francisco Giants signature /walk event the Giant Race, the Giants will host the Inside The Park Marathon to benefit the Giants Community Fund. Just 100 individuals and teams will be selected to participate in this exclusive, limited-space, once-in-a-lifetime 26.2-mile marathon experience held on the warning track inside Oracle Park. Participants will commit to raising a minimum amount of money and upon completion of the ~115 lap course will be recognized for their achievement.
