WERWOLF Di Harm Wulf Ad Integrazione Dell'articolo Di Mjolnir
Read Ebook {PDF EPUB} Himmler by Peter Padfield Himmler by Peter Padfield
Read Ebook {PDF EPUB} Himmler by Peter Padfield Himmler by Peter Padfield. Anthony Storr in Dimensions , vol.6, No 2. Padfield writes clearly, and, judging from Himmler 's reference notes and bibliography, it is apparent that his research is thorough and his knowledge of his subject encyclopedic. The reader can be assured that this book contains all the facts that he could possibly want to know about Himmler, who was one of the four or five most powerful men in the Third Reich. In June 1936, Hitler promoted Himmler to the position of Chief of the German Police. Himmler's combined offices gave him unrivaled power, second only to that of Hitler. He could now proceed with his acknowledged aim of ridding the Reich of its enemies: 'Jews, Bolsheviks, priests, homosexuals'. Padfield calls this operation 'the cleansing of the German nation', and there can be little doubt that Himmler's anal-sadistic character structure inclined him to look upon mass murder as a purge, a way of clearing out the poisonous filth which had accumulated in the bowels of the German nation. The story of the decline and fall of the Third Reich, of the von Stauffenberg plot against Hitler, of Germany's final defeat, and of Hitler's suicide has often been told, but never, perhaps, more competently than in these pages. Padfield, for the most, stays with the facts and declines speculation. He has a gift for narrative, and his account of Himmler's capture by the Allies is riveting. Yet Himmler was not essentially different from many people whom we daily encounter. -

Anti-Tank 290 Message Center
AT 290 MESSAGE CENTER MILLENIUM EDITION DECEMBER 1999 Status of AT’s Message Center Newsletter: A lot has transpired since the delayed mailing of the M/C last Fall. The one perhaps misleadingly identified as the “JULY” 1999 issue. We are continuing to struggle to achieve a paid subscription basis and have elected to release this issue ahead of our normal biannual date of March 2000 in order to apprise you of how we’re doing. The answer is, lousy. The response to Rudy’s September 27 th letter to you, suggesting $5 advance subscriptions, has been disappointing at best. Particularly so, to those of us who volunteered to carry on the good work Rudy started so many years ago. The effect of your “votes” in this respect will certainly be a substantial reduction in the circulation of future issues. Look at the listing of your names and addresses on page 6. Those of you who by your failure to subscribe, essentially voted against continued support of the M/C, are listed indented and in italics . Only a third of you chose to support future M/C newsletters with a subscription. Your names are listed in bold face type. That said, as your editor I (RC) can assure you that this will be your last chance to subscribe. We won’t ask you again because to harangue you would cost our modest treasury more than it can afford. But we do want to gratefully acknowledge the response we had from those who chose to subscribe and who will remain on our mailing list for the foreseeable future. -

A Hitler speaks of his view of women. I detest women who dabble in politics. In no section of the party has a woman ever had the right to hold even the smallest post. It has therefore often been said that we were a party of misogynists who regarded women only as machines for making children, or else as playthings. That’s far from the truth. I attached a lot of importance to women in the training of youth, and in good works. In 1924 we had a sudden upsurge of women who were interested in politics. They wanted to join the Reichstag. -
Erna Petri (1920-2000)
Erna Petri (1920-2000) Profession: Farmer 1938: Marries SS officer Horst Petri 1942: Moves to the SS estate of Grzenda managed by her husband; from June onwards she runs the household and, in his absence, replaces her husband on the SS estate. She behaves like a lady of the manor with absolute power 1943: Shoots herself fugitive Jews and also Jewish children; because Ukrainian country people refuse to work on the estate, she drives three Ukrainian peasant women to the Janowska camp to make an example. She came home in 1992, for health reasons. One account claims that an underground SS organization, Stille Hilfe (Silent Aid) […] may have paid for Petri's apartment when she was released, and may also have been responsible for her being invited to Bavaria, where she enjpuyed the Alpine mountains and lakes with Gudrun Burwitz, the daughter of Heinrich Himmler and a prominent member of Silent Aid. Erna died in July 2000; she had celebrated her eightieth birthday a few months earlier. Two hundred people – everyone in the village and a number of others whom the familiy did not know – came to the funeral.« (Lower, p. -
Fabricating the Death of Adolf Hitler Part 1
Introduction: Debunking the bunker legend any people are broadly familiar with the official narrative of Adolf Hitler's "last days", which was revisited on our cinema screens only recently in the form of the German film Do w n f a l l (Der Untergang, 2004). What they do not know is Mthat the official narrative is a political fiction—and that the revulsion it inspires is the result of deliberate planning. The little that most As the war reached its dreadful conclusion, Churchill and the British government set out to ensure that history never repeated itself—that there would be no resurgence of German of us think we know nationalism—by dictating how history would view the ultra-nationalistic Third Reich down to the very last detail. The narrative was to be so unedifying as to permanently tarnish the about the regime's prestige in the eyes of even its most ardent supporters. At no stage was historical truth a consideration. Neither the British nor the Americans showed genuine interest in circumstances of Hitler's fate. Their on l y interest lay in assigning to the movement's leader the most ignoble exit from the historical stage as possible. In this sense, the consignment of Hitler's charred Hitler's demise corpse to a rubbish-strewn bomb crater functioned as a metaphor for the consignment of the comes to us Hitler regime itself to the dustbin of history. In the foreword to Hitler's Death (2005), an anthology of documents from the Russian courtesy of British state archives designed to buttress the official narrative of the German leader's fate, historian Andrew Roberts avers: "Part of the reason why Germany has been such a successful, MI6 agent Hugh pacific, liberal democracy for the past sixty years is precisely because of the way that Hitler met his end in the manner described in mesmerising detail in this book.
