The pipe band competition complies with the rules of the BAG and the RSPBA and will be judged by adjudicators from The Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association. This event is part of the 19th edition of The Peine Highland Gathering and will take place in the city park of Peine, situated in Lower Saxony, near Hanover, Germany and offering a range of activities with ample opportunities for musical and social contacts. RegioBus (Salzgitter-Lebenstedt -) Broistedt - Peine Zwischen Peine und Broistedt besteht eine RegioBus-Verbindung auf der Linie 530 als Teil der Relation Peine – Salzgitter-Lebenstedt. Neben den Taktfahrten bestehen Fahrten, die im Rahmen der Schülerbeförderung erforderlich sind. Die RegioBus-Linie 530 Peine - Broistedt führt von Peine, Bahn- hof über Klein Ilsede, Groß Ilsede, Gadenstedt, Groß Lafferde, Klein Lafferde, Lengede, Woltwiesche und Barbecke nach Broistedt und endet dort am Bahnhof. Die Fahrten der Linie 530, die ausschließ- lich der Schülerbeförderung dienen, haben andere Linienwege und bedienen auch andere Orte. In Peine ist die Linie 530 verknüpft mit den Zügen von und nach Hannover und Braunschweig.
