Our deepest sympathy to the families of Michael Baxter, Owengallis whose funeral took place in Bawnboy on Wednesday 15th November, Joe Mc Morrow, Mullaghmore whose funeral took place in Bawnboy on Friday and Kathleen Murphy, formerly Corthoon whose funeral took place in Preston, England recently. Pastoral Council Meeting on Monday November 27th at 8pm in the Parochial house Bawnboy An Information session on Safeguarding Children will take place after mass in Corlough tonight Saturday 25th November 2017 in the meeting room. All parents who have children who serve on the altar and all Eucharistic Minsters are asked to attend if they have not already attended this information session. Any member of the Corlough Templeport parish is welcome to attend this information evening. Liturgy Workshop – preparing for Advent and Christmas: Tuesday 28 November 2017 in the Kilmore Diocesan Pastoral Centre, Cavan at 7:30pm. – facilitated by Jane Ferguson, National Council for Liturgy, Maynooth. All welcome. EX UMBRA IN LUCEM - FROM SHADOW INTO LIGHT: There will be an Advent Service of Readings and Carols in the Conaty Chapel of the Kilmore Diocesan Pastoral Centre, Cullies, Cavan, on Monday 4 December 2017 at 7:30p.m. led by the Lassus Scholars and their director, Dr. Ite O'Donovan with Simon Harden as organist. As space in the Chapel is limited, admission is by ticket only which may be obtained - free of charge - by contacting the Diocesan Pastoral Centre on (049) 4375004 before Friday 1 December 2017. There will be a seasonal reception after the service in the Drumlane Room. This event has been made possible through Cavan County Council’s Heritage Office and funding gratefully received from the Creative Ireland Programme 2017-2022 as part of the Creative Ireland Events Programme for County Cavan.
