A Medjugorje Afternoon of Prayer through the intercession of our Lady will take place in the Kilmore Diocesan Pastoral Centre, Cullies, Cavan on Sunday June 24th at 3pm - with Rosary, Holy Mass, Talks, Eucharistic Adoration and Benediction. Celebrant: Fr John Hogan. All welcome to attend. Enquiries 087 2459960" ‘Album Launch- Fr. Darragh Connolly An album called ‘I Hear You Calling Me - A Tribute to Count John McCormack’ by Fr. Darragh Connolly will be launched by Dr. Labhrás O’Murchú of Comhaltas Ceoltroirí Éireann in the Hotel Kilmore at 3pm, today Sunday 17th June. Some tracks will be performed and the album will be for sale. This is a free event. Everyone welcome. COMMUNITY NOTICES All notices for Newsletter must be in by THURSDAY EVENING AT 7PM for inclusion. Irish water safety swimming and life saving classes will take place at Brackley lake starting Monday 16th of July and will run for two weeks St. Aidan's N.S. end of year mass will be held on Tuesday 19th June at 10am. After mass we will be raising our "Green Schools" flag and officially opening our new pitch. Everyone welcome. Tea and refreshments served. Bawnboy Community Festival Whist Drive on Thursday June 21 at 9pm in Templeport Resource Centre. Your support would be greatly appreciated. Congratulations: Templeport Development Association would like to extend our heartiest congratulations to Oliver Brady on his nomination for the Cathaoirleach Award recently. Well deserved Oliver. No Social Dancing Classes: in Templeport Resource Centre on Thursday 21 June. Dancing the following Thursday 28 June at 8.30pm. All are welcome. Keys for Templeport Resource Centre: The locks have recently been changed on the external doors of the Resource Centre. Should you need to gain access to the Centre, keys are available from Maguire's shop, Bawnboy and Templeport Stores. It is important that these keys are returned after use. During a recent audit of fittings and furnishings at the Resource Centre, it came to our attention that a number of chairs and tables are missing. We would ask that if you have borrowed either from the centre at some point in the past, and did not return them, that you would do so immediately. We are only too happy to lend chairs etc. to anyone who needs them, but we would ask that they are returned promptly. Judging of tidy town will be taking place over the next two weeks and we would appreciate if everybody could make a big effort to clean up and tidy around their own property. We are arranging a big clean up next Wednesday evening 20th June from 7pm until 9pm and we are urging as many people to come out and help in any way they can to keep our village looking well and to keep us in the competition. There will be bags and gloves provided. If everybody could bring some items for cleaning up e.g. brushes, shovels, spades or any other equipment that would help with clean up. "A Date for your Diary". .Local Folk and Traditional group Eriu from Milltown are performing in The Ardowen Theatre, Enniskillen on Saturday 14th July next. The Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 4 and 21 of the Derelict Sites Act, 1990 (No. 14 of 1990), hereby makes the following Regulations:— Citation. 1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Derelict Sites (Urban Areas) Regulations 2015. (2) These Regulations and the Derelict Sites Regulations, 1990 to 2013 may be cited together as the Derelict Sites Regulations, 1990 to 2015. Prescription of Urban Areas 2. The areas in the administrative counties of Carlow, Cavan, Clare, Cork, Donegal, Galway, Kerry, Kilkenny, Limerick, Longford, Louth, Mayo, Meath, Monaghan, Offaly, Sligo, Tipperary, Waterford, Westmeath, Wexford and Wicklow listed in Column 2 of the Schedule to these Regulations, located in the Electoral Divisions and Local Electoral Areas listed in Columns 3 and 4 of the said Schedule, opposite the mention of the relevant administrative county in Column 1 of the said Schedule are hereby prescribed to be urban areas for the purposes of the Derelict Sites Act, 1990.
