CAO DEADLINE IS APPROACHING Applications processed before 17:15 on 20th January benefit from a discounted application fee of €25. The normal application fee up to 1st February at 17:15 is €40. Do not leave applying until the last minute. If you have any issues with your online application please ask for help ASAP. Closing Date 1st February at 17:15
UCAS DEADLINE IS ALSO APPRAOCHING
15th January 2016 - Deadline all applications for UCAS including the UCAS reference for all courses. Except Art & Design courses with a 24th March deadline.
HEAR & DARE
There will be workshops held for students and parents to help with the applications for both HEAR and DARE. They will also address any questions you may have. www.accesscollege.ie

Speakers from colleges all over Ireland will visit the school throughout January and February to speak with Leaving Cert Students. This is a brilliant opportunity for students to find out information about colleges, different courses they offer, accommodation, scholarships and the different facilities colleges.

THIRD YEAR CAREER GUIDANCE
On the 8th of January students had an assembly meeting in relation to 4th Year with Ms. Osbourne. From this students should be now able to make a well informed decision about whether to apply for Transition Year or to head directly in to the Senior Cycle. Students will also be learning about Subject Options in Career Guidance Classes throughout January. They will get a Subject Option Booklet that will help them with the decision making process as well. Both 3rd and 4th year student will attend a talk this month hosted by all the subject departments where students will get information and guidance in relation to all subjects being offered to students. All of the above should guide students to make well informed decisions in relation to their subject choice.
