Cricut branches like electrical engineering got the highest placements in terms of percentage. The rest of the students went for higher studies and civil services, and more than 60% of the students got internships from our branch.

Disclaimer: This PDF is auto-generated based on the information available on Shiksha as on 25-Sep-2021. Infrastructure: IIT BBS infrastructure has been successfully managed. The permanent campus of IIT BBS is spreading over 960 acres. They constructed a new swimming pool and 2 hostels in which one is for boys, and one is for girls. You can use Wi-Fi services 24 hours, but it has a limitation on data uses. Labs and classrooms are fully air-conditioned with the required things. There is a canteen, and the quality of mess food is also the best. IIT BBS also provides wide scope in sports. Faculty: Teachers are very well-qualified, and they are always ready to help. Professors have much knowledge about their subjects. Overall, the teaching quality is better. They also guide the professional and personal growth of students. Compared to other IITs, the administration is very strict. Exams are also conducted in a very good manner, even in online classes. Almost 98% of the students have passed in the semesters. Other: I watch in our daily life, a lot of things are related to electronics, which seems me interested, so I gave it a priority. There are many things that students can explore in many fields. Our college has technical societies named Neuro for coding and Risc for electronics and others like drama, literature, music, etc. There are also three fests like a technical fest named Wissenaire, a cultural fest named Alma Fiesta and an fest named E- Summit. Our institute also provides merit-cum scholarships for students, and students can do a lot of other activities and academics activities.

4.2 Placements 4 Infrastructure 4 Faculty & Course Curriculum 4 Crowd & Campus Life 5 Really appreciable college. Placements: In civil engineering, it is around 50 % placement in core as well as non-core sectors. The highest package was 15 Lacs in an IT company and the lowest is 5-6 Lacs and average is 8-9 Lacs. Top companies are Goldman Sachs, Razopay, Master card, Amazon and PSUs. Internship percentage from my course is around 70%. It includes the companies such as Amazon, Hindustan Petroleum, Goldman Sachs and many more. Infrastructure: The classrooms are equipped with smart boards, projectors, Wi-Fi, Air conditioners, speakers and mics. Every subject has a specific lab in my course and all the facilities are available there. Hostel is very well maintained. Mess food is average in taste as it depends on person to person and also the region from where one belongs. It is very clean and hygiene. Hostel is equipped with Wi-Fi, LAN network and fire extinguisher and fire alarm. All the indoor and outdoor games courts are available.

Disclaimer: This PDF is auto-generated based on the information available on Shiksha as on 25-Sep-2021. Faculty: The teachers here are very well qualified and are very friendly. Teaching quality will not disappoint you because it is very good and it fulfills the expectations required from an IIT. The 4-year programs is enough to make one perfect in his course. One can get enough experience and knowledge to work in a company. Semester exams are not very difficult. If we study regularly in class then it is very easy. The pass percentage is around 95-97%. Other: I chose this course because I want to explore this field. I want to get enough knowledge regarding civil field. The best thing about this course is that the professors help us in everything and clears our all doubts. This college also have fests, clubs and other curricular activities which help students to know each other, which connects one student to many more students. Scholarships are available for economic weaker sections.

3.6 Placements 2 Infrastructure 5 Faculty & Course Curriculum 4 Crowd & Campus Life 5 Review of Indian Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar. Placements: Placements in our college are good only for non-core branches. If you want to do a software job, then only take admission to this college. You will get very few companies for a core job, and mostly those companies prefer B.Tech, but not dual degree students. Companies will not allow dual degree students to attend their tests.

Infrastructure: The food served in a mess is quite good. There is 24x7 access for Wi-Fi. All classrooms are air-conditioned. There are 5 volleyball courts, 4 basketball courts and 1 hockey ground. SAC would be constructed in 5 years, which will have all the indoor sports facilities. Faculty: The mechanical and metallurgical faculty members are great here, but I do not want to say anything about other faculty members. The course curriculum needs to be updated. Their teaching quality is not that bad. Teachers are ready to help if you approach them by yourself. Other: If you are concerned about placements and want to take CS, ECE and EE branches, then only join this college or else opt for any other college.

Placements: None of the students gets placed in M.Sc. in Mathematics course. Just some students got admission to renowned colleges for PhD, and many are still preparing for NET or to get admission in IITs by institute fellowship. Coaching institutions mainly are the top recruiting companies in this college for our course. Infrastructure: The hostel is awesome with single and clean rooms. There is a time limit for girls hostel because there are construction workers all around the campus. The food served in a mess is better than any other private hostel. Computer laboratories are good here. Faculty: Semester exams have high-level questions, but the grading is relative, so there is a relief. Teachers in our college are very helpful, knowledgeable and well-qualified. They are postdocs and have published so many papers. The syllabus can be better, and it can be modified to help students prepare for the NET exam. Some faculty members are good.

Other: Our college conducts average extracurricular activities. There are several societies for students to join.

Top recruiting companies are Tata Consultancy Services, FIITJEE, Allen, Akash, Fiziks etc. They mainly got the role of tutors and scientists in companies. Infrastructure: This IIT has probably one of the best hostel facilities. The hostel is clean with Wi-Fi, gym, lift, single rooms, and many more facilities. As for the infrastructure, it is one of the best new-generation IITs. It has a well-developed lab for Physics. It also has a decent library and a well-maintained study room.

Faculty: The teachers are very well qualified, research-oriented, and student-friendly. 4.0 Placements 4 Infrastructure 4 Faculty & Course Curriculum 4 Crowd & Campus Life 4 Good college that produces global citizens every year. Placements: Out of the 35 students registered in the mechanical engineering course, 32 people were placed. The highest salary offered was 39 LPA. The average salary offered was around 11 LPA. Most placements were into the core sector. Tata Steel, Tata Motors, IOC are some companies that recruit students from our college. Not sure about the salary ranges in my branch. Infrastructure: Our college has a building for each school. We have a School of Mechanical Sciences for Mechanical Engineering department. There are many labs for various interdisciplinary courses. We also have a workshop. Wi-Fi facility is available with the Institute id in hostel rooms and all the academic buildings. LAN is also available in hostel rooms. The food in mess is mostly average. But there are other options for better food. There is a dispensary for medical needs. We also have an ambulance for students who cannot go by their own and also for emergency purposes. Gym facilities are available in hostel. There is a playground which is common. Many new buildings and playgrounds are coming up as a part of the second phase construction.

Faculty: The teachers here at IITBBS are really qualified. Most if them (I guess all) have done their PhDs from reputed institutions (mostly old IITs and sometimes institutions abroad). The teaching quality is exceptional especially the professors of mechanical engineering courses are very helpful. The course curriculum is complete and will make any student industry ready. There are optional courses which students can do on the side to improve their skills.
