PAYMENT SCHEDULE: • BY: Aug. 30, 2018 Traveler Deposit: US $500 per person 50% refundable to Oct. 15, 2018 • BY: Nov. 1, 2o19 Progress Payment #1: US $750 per person 50% refundable to Dec. 15, 2018 • BY: Feb. 1, 2019 Progress Payment #2: US $1,250 per person 50% refundable to Mar. 15, 2019 • BY: April 1, 2019 Final Payment: Balance in Full 50% refundable to Apr. 15, 2019 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS PASSPORTS & VISAS • US citizens must present a valid passport that will be valid for the duration of the tour • United States passport holders can travel to the Japan without a visa for up to 90 days for tourism purposes • Non-US passport holders may contact World Projects for guidance WEATHER / TEMPERATURE • June can be warm to hot and humid • Average Temps: • TOKYO: Average high is 78°/ average low is 66° • KYOTO: Average high is 82°/ average low is 65° • Temperature extremes run from 50°to 95° • Rain is common in June (~10-12 days per month) • Plan on bringing light / breathable / layerable attire and comfortable/appropriate footwear MONEY / CURRENCY • The Yen is the local currency in Japan • Yen value fluctuates against the US dollar. LANGUAGE / ETIQUETTE ♪ The main language spoken in Japan is Japanese ♪ English is not widely used with the exception of major tourist areas ♪ Group will be escorted by bi-lingual Tour Managers throughout the tour in Japan ♪ Correct manners are very important among the Japanese DEVIATIONS • Deviation is defined as a change in flight schedule prior to group departure or after group return • World Projects can make changes to air only – additional ground arrangements are the responsibility of the individual traveler including airport transfers • All airlines restrict the number of deviations per group booking – all deviations are processed on 1st-come / 1st-served basis • Deviation requests will only be accepted up to a point in spring, 2018
