2020/2021 ANNUAL STATE HIGH POINT AWARDS

State Annual High Point Awards can only be achieved, and recognised, if a horse, or rider, has accumulated a minimum of ten (10) points, at a minimum of three (3) shows in any category.

NB: The horse exhibited by a Youth must be owned by the Youth or their immediate family for the points to be counted towards the Youth High Point Awards.

STATE AWARDS AQHA National Show points do not count towards any State Awards

Horses – only points earned in the State where the owner of the horse resides count towards State Awards Amateur & Youth – only points earned in the State where the Amateur or Youth resides count towards State Awards HORSE AWARDS

High Point Performance Horse of each State Category 1 The following classes contribute to this award: Ranch Versatility, Dressage, Endurance, Eventing, Hack, Hunter Hack, Hunter in Hand, Hunter Under Saddle, Show Hunter, Lunge Line, Led Trail, Ranch Riding, AQHA Reining, RA Open Reining, RA Limited Reining, RA Intermediate Reining, RA Novice Reining, Trail, Western Pleasure, Western Riding, Western Dressage, AQHA Sporting, Endurance, Eventing, Pleasure Driving, Show Jumping.

High Point Performance Horse of each State Category 2 The following classes contribute to this award: Open Campdraft, Novice Campdraft, Open Cutting, Novice Non Pro Cutting, Novice Cutting $5,000, Novice Cutting $15,000, Barrel, Rope & Tie, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping Header, Team Roping Heeler, Stockman’s Challenge, Team Penning, Working Cow Horse, Ladies Campdraft, Maiden Campdraft, Snafflebit Cutting, Ladies Barrel, Ladies Breakaway Roping, Ladies Steer Undecorating, and Racing.

High Point Halter Horse of Each State Classes that count towards this award are: Open Halter, Performance Halter and Champion & Reserve

High Point Equestrians with Disabilities Rider of Each State The following classes contribute to these this award: Walk/Jog Horsemanship, Horsemanship, Walk/Jog Trail, Trail, Walk/Trot Hunt Seat Equitation, Hunt Seat Equitation, Showmanship
