Aims and scope Annales Geophysicae (ANGEO) is a not-for-profit inter- ƒƒ solar corona & heliospheric physics; national, multi- and inter-disciplinary scientific open-ac- ƒƒ magnetosphere & space plasma physics; cess journal in the field of solar–terrestrial and planetary ƒƒ ionosphere & aeronomy; sciences. ANGEO publishes original articles and short communications (letters) on research of the Sun–Earth ƒƒ atmosphere and its relation to the Sun; system, including the science of space weather, solar– ƒƒ terrestrial planet systems; terrestrial plasma physics, the Earth’s ionosphere and ƒƒ small bodies to dust, including dwarf planets, aster- atmosphere, the magnetosphere, and the study of plan- oids, and comets; ets and planetary systems, the interaction between the ƒ different spheres of a planet, and the interaction across ƒ giant planet systems; the planetary system. Topics range from space weath- ƒƒ space weather, climate, habitability, and life in the ering, planetary magnetic field, and planetary interior (exo-)planetary context; and surface dynamics to the formation and evolution of ƒƒ exoplanet systems. planetary systems, as specified in one or more of the following fields:
