Eine Nichtbeachtung gilt als grob fahrlässiges Verhalten. Laut Fahrordnung §13.1 hat bei Schäden, die durch grob fahrlässiges Verhalten entstehen, der/die Verantwortliche bzw. Schädiger den vollen Schadenersatz zu leisten. Bei Mannschaften haftet die gesamte Mannschaft zu ungeteilter Hand. Also bitte immer auf der richtigen Seite fahren!!!!!! Richtig ist: Von Kagraner Brücke in Richtung Stürzl – auf der Kagraner Seite Von Stürzl in Richtung Kagraner Brücke – auf der Kaisermühlener (Gänsehäufel) Seite (zwischen Pirat und den roten Bojen). Dazu ist im Club auf dem Mitteilungsbrett ein Plan ausgehängt. Bei der Fahrt vom Stürzl in Richtung Kagraner Brücke darf im Bereich des Gänsehäufls nicht zwischen den auch in den Wintermonaten bei Abwesenheit der Bojenreihe im Wasser verbliebenen 3 Haltestäben für die Eckbojen und dem Gänsehäufl gerudert werden.     Welcome to Gisborne Rowing Club Inc. Gisborne Rowing Club Inc. Aug 2019 Page 1 Welcome to the Gisborne Rowing Club 2019/2020 season. We are looking forward to providing training involving learning to row, rowing technique, general fitness, boat handling and maintenance and diet. Rowing is a popular sport, not only in Gisborne but many other places. It is also a popular university sport and you will be able to use the skills you learn through the season at any rowing club world-wide. Our club has several types of Rowers – competitive, recreational masters and novices. Some are school aged and some are Masters, over 26 years of age. The rowing year commences on 1st October and we attend a number of club regattas through the season until the North Island Club Champs in late January. This year the planned regattas will be held in Gisborne, the Hawkes Bay and at Lake Karapiro near Cambridge. A schedule of proposed regattas and the potential costs to attend is attached. From February our focus shifts to the school rowing season with North Island Secondary Schools Champs and Maadi Cup regattas at Lake Karapiro and Twizel in March.     New Zealand Olympic Ambassador Images Getty Rebecca Scown Olympian number: Discipline: Specialist event: 1208 Rowing Coxless pair Rebecca Scown was born in Hawera in 1983. She went to a small primary school that had only eight students – three of those were Rebecca and her siblings. Career She started rowing in 1998 during her senior years at Wanganui Collegiate School, following in the footsteps highlights of her sister Hannah and brother Sam. She rowed for the school team in the Maadi Cup, the national secondary schools regatta. 2012 London Olympic Games: Women’s pair (Bronze) At her very first national championships out of school, 2011 Lake Bled World Rowing Championships: Rebecca came second in the under-21 pair. It was during Women’s pair (Gold) this race that she realised that she could go far in rowing. 2011 Lucerne World Rowing Cup: In 2005, Rebecca debuted for New Zealand at the World Women’s pair (Silver) Rowing Under-23 Championships in Amsterdam. She 2010 Lake Karapiro World Rowing Championships: raced in the quadruple scull with crewmates Bess Halley, Women’s pair (Gold) Darnelle Timbs and Clementine Marshall. The team won 2010 Lucerne World Rowing Cup: bronze and Rebecca was on her way to becoming one of Women’s pair (Gold) New Zealand’s top rowers. 2009 Poznań World Rowing Championships: Women’s pair (Bronze) In 2006, Rebecca started rowing for the Union Boat Club in Wanganui, winning several national championships 2009 Munich World Rowing Cup: Women’s pair (Gold) over the years in various events, including quadruple 2005 Amsterdam World Rowing Under-23 Championships: Quadruple scull (Bronze) Copyright © 2014.

  • 2014 Aon Maadi
    Issue Date: Winter 2014 2014 Aon Maadi Cup – Largest Ever The Aon Maadi Cup is the pinnacle of the school rowing season and this year there was considerable growth with 125 schools attending the regatta and 155 schools registered members of NZSSRA. This growth in membership is another indicator of the continued strength and depth of this major sporting event. There were 2108 pupils competing in 1641 crews at Lake Ruataniwha. This was the largest Maadi Cup ever held. Consequently, this led to an extremely busy schedule with racing taking place from 8am-5pm over the six days (and in some cases until 6:30pm). Early in the week four hours was lost due to extremely high winds consequently, the race committee made the tough decision to revert to time trials for the repechages only in order to make up time. This is a new way of completing races and although many found this controversial about the same number of schools were happy with this decision. After completing the repechages the regatta was back on track and felt no further delays. The racing of finals was very exciting, especially when it came time for the boys U18 eight, the crews competing for the Maadi Cup. Hamilton Boy’s High School (5:55.84) took the honours again this year beating St Bede’s College by 2.15 seconds, and Napier Boy’s High School taking third. The girl’s U18 eight saw Waikato Diocesan School (6:51.43) win the Levin 75th Jubilee Cup after a dominant performance. Westlake Girl’s High School and St Margaret’s College were placed second and third.
