Anthony Magalski ’81, M.D. Connect with us! 4 HOLY NAME HIGH SCHOOL | holynamehs.com CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS Construction on Cicerchi Field is Complete onstruction on Cicerchi Field, which began in August, was completed in November 2016. The playing field now features a synthetic turf field Csurface, and will be used for athletic practices, as well as JV and freshman football, girls soccer, August ’16 boys soccer and lacrosse home games. Holy Name partnered with FieldTurf, a company that has done both the gameday and practice fields at The Ohio State University, among others, to install Holy Name’s turf field successfully. In addition to FieldTurf, Holy September ’16 Name worked with The Vasco Group to prepare for the construction efforts. They removed the existing grass field, broke up asphalt, tore down trees, leveled the field, installed a new drainage system and put down an initial gravel surface, all before the turf could be placed. October ’16 Prior to the field construction beginning in August, a groundbreaking ceremony took place to kick-off the project.
