PARMA HEIGHTS RECREATION SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE!

2020 Look Inside For: 2020/2021 Recreation Calendar Online Registration www.parmaheightsoh.gov ü Family Entertainment ü Activities, Classes & Clubs ü Programs for Children ü Swimming Pool & Waterpark ü Map of City Parks ...... and more! A message from MAYOR MICHAEL P. BYRNE

Parma Heights began to expand as a community in the 1950’s and recreation has been an important element of our community ever since. Developing recreation in Parma Heights involved not only conceiving a recreation master plan but also the purchase of land, parcel by parcel, to develop over 100 acres of city-owned parks spread throughout our community. My administration is committed to continue this tradition of enhancing the quality of life of our residents by providing opportunities to enjoy our beautiful parks (two new pocket parks are planned on the southeastern side of Pearl Road) and by continuing to offer a variety of recreational activities as well as social and cultural events for the entire family to enjoy. Our Recreation Department is a large part of why our new tagline “Community Grows Here” is so appropriate. By striving to enrich the lives of individuals and families while promoting an active lifestyle for residents of all ages, the department offers a variety of ways for you to enjoy the beauty of our community while providing a great opportunity to get to know your neighbors!
