RON WOLF TO RECEIVE HALL OF FAME RING OF EXCELLENCE AT PACKERS-LIONS GAME LEGENDARY CONTRIBUTOR TO BE HONORED AT DURING HALFTIME ON SUNDY

CANTON, OHIO – The Pro Football Hall of Fame and Kay® Jewelers, the Official Jewelry Store of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, will honor Class of 2015 enshrinee during a special ceremony on Sunday afternoon as he receives his Hall of Fame Ring of Excellence. A tribute to the Hall of Fame general manager will take place at halftime of the Bay Packers home game against NFC North rival at Lambeau Field.

Wolf is the fifth member of the Class of 2015 to receive his Ring of Excellence thus far this . Charles Haley was honored during Kickoff Weekend in San Francisco and Week 8 in Dallas, Bill Polian received his Ring of Excellence in Buffalo during Week 2, Mick Tingelhoff was recognized a week later in Minnesota and Jerome Bettis was honored in Pittsburgh during Week 4.

The Hall of Fame Ring of Excellence is one of three iconic symbols that represent the elite status of being a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Wolf received his Hall of Fame Jacket on Thursday night of Enshrinement Week in Canton, and unveiled his Bronzed Bust during the Enshrinement Ceremony two days later. All three symbols will be displayed during the ring presentation on Sunday at Lambeau Field. Wolf will wear his Hall of Fame Gold Jacket and his Bronzed Bust will be temporarily removed from the Hall of Fame and shipped to Green Bay for the Ring of Excellence ceremony.

Wolf is among the 21 members of the Hall of Fame who have been enshrined as a contributor. He is just one of three former team general managers to make it to Canton. Wolf is the 23rd longtime member of the Packers to be elected to the Hall COMMITMENT • INTEGRITY • COURAGE • RESPECT • EXCELLENCE

and is also one of 15 longtime members of the Oakland Raiders franchise to be enshrined. Wolf’s legacy includes being recognized as one of the finest personnel men in the history of the . His leadership helped the Raiders win nine division titles and three Super Bowls during his long tenure with the team. In 1991, he took over a dismal Packers franchise and quickly turned the team into one of the NFL’s elite clubs. During his time in Green Bay, the team claimed three straight division titles, and back-to-back appearances highlighted by a victory in Super Bowl XXXI. “There are several individuals who played a huge role in my life in pro football,” Wolf shared from the Enshrinement stage in Canton’s Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in August. “I was very fortunate to be able to work in the AFL and NFL for 38 years and owe a great deal to too many people to mention. But I do want to thank every member of the organization from 1992 to 2001.”

Kay® Jewelers redesigned the Hall of Fame Ring of Excellence in 2013. As part of the partnership between the Hall of Fame and Kay® Jewelers, all living members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame will receive the new Ring of Excellence in special presentations over the next three seasons.

The Hometown Hall of Famer™ program presented by Ford honors Hall of Fame heroes with a program and permanent plaque to honor the Hall of Famer’s hometown support. Now in its 4th year, the US Army-Pro Football Hall of Fame Award for Excellence honors 20 high school students nationally for excellence in community service, academics and athletics. Construction on HOF Village, a $476 million development project, is under way in Canton to transform the Hall of Fame’s campus.
