A qualifying club shall be defined as a Key Club in good standing for at least two years. Clubs shall compete with other clubs of similar size within four membership categories based upon membership from the previous year: Bronze, being 35 members or less; Silver, being 46 to 60 members; Gold, being 61 to 85 members, and Platinum, being 86 members or more. Clubs that increase their membership from the previous Key Club year by 10% as of February of the current year will receive a certificate from the Florida District. Key Club International provides recognition to the clubs with the greatest percentage membership growth in the four club size categories. Club Poster (Non-Digital and Digital) provides recognition to Key Clubs that best demonstrate the values of our organization via a poster. Clubs may submit one digital or non-digital poster for judging. The poster must display an original and current design that could be used to promote Key Club. The poster should be designed to recruit new members and should not bear the name of any school, community, or district.

The evaluation study used interviews, surveys, anda review of records. It was found that: (1) all high schools have developeda course of study for high ability students, including Advanced Placement, honors, and four magnet programs;(2) all schools have a process for identifying high ability students and directing them tomore rigorous academic courses; (3) those schools with course/program analysis systems in place were found to be more fully meeting student needs; (4) most students felt that courseswere preparing them adequately for the next level courses;(5) major concerns expressed by administrators and practitioners focused on threats to theseprograms as a result of reduced funding;(6) almost all schools utilized district-level incentive funds in program development; and (7)the implications of changing demographics have not been fully incorporated into program planning. The report briefly presentsthe purpose of the evaluation, related district goals, the program description, evaluation questions, and procedures. Most of thereport is given to analysis of findings and recommendations for eachschool.

The district has been evaluated and selected from among districts within the Nominating Authority’s jurisdiction, based on high achievement in the three ED-GRS Pillars: 1) reduced environmental impact and costs; 2) improved health and wellness; and 3) effective environmental education. 2. The district is providing the U.S. Department of Education Office of Civil Rights (OCR) access to information necessary to investigate a civil rights complaint or to conduct a district wide compliance review. 3.
