Dexter Lab: Annie's Ego Trip award-winning one-hour animated television special spawned from the Cartoon Network animated series Dexter Lab, produced by Hannah-Barbera (now Cartoon Network Studios) The film's protagonist Dexter is going into the future to see his futuristic version of himself and his eternal rival Mandark to stop the latter from taking over the world. Ego Trip was originally intended to be the series finale for Dexter's lab, but due to mixed reception from critics and high-ratings viewers, the series was picked up for two more seasons with the first episode, Streaky Clean, airing November 16, 2001. Summary Robots from the Future come to destroy Dexter because he saved the future. Dexter defeats them and, upon hearing that he has saved the future, he goes into the future to find out what he has done. Plot After chasing his rival Mandark from his lab as he tries to steal his latest invention, Dexter asks his sister Dee Dee to leave the lab where she inadvertently enters a time machine stored at the entrance. Suddenly, Dexter encounters a group of red robots that have emerged from this time machine. They claim that they are here to destroy the one who saved the future and seem to be preparing to attack Dexter. Dexter easily destroys them with various tools and gadgets from his lab, as robots mysteriously do not attack at all. -

La duda hace que el encuentro con otras personas que dicen haber sido abducidas siempre tenga relevancia para Mulder, Scully o ambos, como se puede ver con claridad en el caso de Cassandra Spender. Hasta que él mismo es abducido se da la paradójica situación de que quien cree en la posibilidad de la abducción es él mientras que Scully, abducida en la Temporada 2, siempre duda de quién la secuestró, convenciéndose de que los extraterrestres son responsables sólo cuando su compañero desaparece (y no necesariamente en referencia a su propio rapto). En cualquier caso poco importa en el fondo si el abducido ha sido víctima de sus congéneres humanos o de alienígenas porque en todos los casos él o ella cree –con la singular excepción de Scully– que sus raptores no son de este mundo. With no minimum spend and versatile, diverse locations, New Mexico welcomes projects ranging from microbudget indies to studio tentpoles,” said Amber Dodson, Director, New Mexico Film Office. The Ray: The Ray, a feature film slated for a fall 2021 release is produced by The Ray LLC, filmed in Algodones, Cochiti Pueblo, and Albuquerque, New Mexico in March 2021. The film is directed by Chris Borrelli (The Vatican Tapes, Eloise, Witches In The Woods) and produced by Matt Allen (Mighty Oak, Four Chrsitmases, Soul Surfer), Gabriel Roth (Grindhouse, Hostel: Part II, Fright Club), and Conor Bailey (The Core, Warriors of the West) The production employed approximately 100 New Mexico crew members, 5 New Mexico principal talent, and 25 New Mexico background. There’s No One Perfect Girl: Third Wave Feminism and The Powerpuff Girls Evie Kendal Introduction The popular children’s television series, The Powerpuff Girls, was originally conceived by animator Craig McCracken under the name The Whoopass Girls in 1992.1 Following a name change and three alternative pilot epi- sodes, the series was picked up by the Cartoon Network and ran from 1995 through to 2005. During this time the show won several awards, including two Primetime Emmy awards for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation (2000 and 2005), and two Annie awards for Production Design and Musical Score in an Animated Series (2001).2 In this article I will be exploring The Powerpuff Girls from a feminist perspective, focusing on what is unique about this series and where it is positioned in popular media culture, before addressing some of the common criticisms of the show and identifying some of its major strengths. It will be my contention that The Powerpuff Girls embraces third-wave feminist ideology, with its focus on “Girl Power” and consumerism, while also abandoning the more individual- istic aspects of this brand of feminism by exploring the meaning of sister- hood and female empowerment through community.
