Digging Deeper 1. Mark apparently struggled with some big failures in his life. How might failures cause someone to feel like they are disqualified from a role in God’s kingdom plans? 5. Timothy Keller says that Jesus talks to us directly through Mark’s Gospel. He says that Jesus calls us all to decisive action, to an active response. As we begin studying Mark’s Gospel, how do you feel about that call to “activate” as a follower of Jesus? What would decisive action look like in your life if you were to follow Jesus more faithfully?
