If you are “in the Current Evaluation Cycle” & you don’t want to be evaluated…please inform the Evaluations Director in writing. “So where do I do my Peer Evaluations in 2019?”
Peer Evaluations are NO LONGER done through Arbiter. All Peer Evaluations are done through either the: ❖ The “Evaluator App” ❖ The “Evaluator Website”
The “Evaluator App” can be brought in through your store of choice. It’s found as “Evaluator” with the picture of an umpire. The website can be accessed via this link: http://evaluatorweb.azurewebsites.net “SO WHERE DO I ENTER MY PEER EVALUATIONS?
On the “Evaluator Website”
The website can be accessed via this link: http://evaluatorweb.azurewebsites.net
“QUESTIONS!”
Why are we making this change? How does this benefit me? Will this make my “job” easier? How does this benefit the NBUA? Will I get paid $15 for each Partner Evaluation I do, just like last season? Will I be trained by someone or do I have to figure this out on my own? “MORE QUESTIONS!”
Is there an Evaluator’s User Guide I can use? When will this begin? I’m not much of a tech-guy. Will there be someone I can reach out to? Are we still using the 1-5 system? Where will I be able to find a Full Evaluation done on me? If I do my Peer Evaluations, will this help me get promoted? “& MORE QUESTIONS”
Do I have to have Windows 10 or better to operate the Evaluators App? Does the Evaluator App cost me $? ➢ I’m a Rookie umpire with NBUA. Can I do Peer Evaluations? As a Rookie, should I bring in this App (or go to the website)? Both? As an NBUA member, can I use both the App and/or the website version? Do I have to sign my Peer Evaluations still? Questions?
