PAPERHOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE The following lists are the most common items accepted and not accepted at the Household Hazardous Waste City of Tacoma Facility. If you have a question about a specific item, please call TacomaFIRST 311 or (253) 591-5418. When visiting the facility, customers must drive-up. No walk-up or self-service is allowed.

DONATION AND REUSE OPTIONS In order to reduce our shared environmental impact, the City of Tacoma’s goal is to divert 70% of our community’s solid waste from landfills by 2028. Items in good working condition can often be donated to a local organization for resale right here in Tacoma.
