These Regulations may be cited as the Pesticides (Amendment) Regulations, 1999 and shall be read and construed as one with the Pesticides Regulations, 1996, hereinafter referred to as the principal Regulations. 2. Regulation 8 (2) of the principal Regulations is hereby amended by deleting the numeral "0.5" and substituting therefor the numeral "I". Dated this 4th day ofMarch, 1999. P. No. 211/6 80 PROCLAMAnONS, RULES AND REGULAnONS [MARCH 9, 1999 No.41 THE PESTICIDES ACT THE PESTICIDES (AMENDMENT OF SCHEDULES) ORDER, 1999 In exercise of the powers conferred upon the Minister by sections 9 (2) and 14 (2) of the Pesticides Act, and ofevery other power hereunto enabling, the following Order is hereby made, after consultation with the Pesticides Control Authority:- 1. This Order may be cited as the Pesticides Act (Amendment of Schedules) Order, 1999 and shall be read and construed as one with the Pesticides Act, hereinafter referred to as the principal Act. 2. The provisions ofthe principal Act specified in the first column ofthe Schedule are amended in the manner specified in the second column thereof.
