On 13.12.2017 on the basis of source information and leading to the statements of the P.C accused two (2) principle accused namely (i) Rabish Kumar Upadhyay @ Guddu (35) s/o Ramapati Upadhyay of Narayandighi, PO. Burdwan, PS Burdwan, District Purba Burdwan and (ii) Manajit Singh (36) s/o Dineshwar Singh of Kalna Road, Brinda Appartment, Block - B, Flat No. H-4, PO+PS Burdwan, District purba Burdwan havebeen arrested in c/w the above referred Case. The arrested accused persons will be produced before the Court of Ld. ACJM Tehatta Court, Nadia on 14.12.17.

(4) Interesting detection by West Bengal Police:-

a) Reference Ketugram PS Case No. 92/2017 dated 30.03.2017 u/s 363/365/120B IPC. On 25.12.2017 one victim girl under PS Ketugram, District Purba Burdwan was recovered from Anchola talab area under PS Tulije, District Palghar by the officer of CID, WB and they also arrested 02 persons namely (i) Saddam Rahaman (27) s/o Abdul Salim SK (ii) Abdul Salim SK (45) both of village + PS Ketugram , District Purba Burdwan from Green park, District Thane, Maharastra.

b) Reference Sankrail PS Case No. 960/17 dated 22.12.2017 u/s 20(ii)(b)c/29 NDPS Act 1985 and 25/27 Arms Act.

On 22.12.2017 officer and force of CID, WB held raid at Sankrail PS area and arrested two persons namely Vinod Chouhan @ Vinod (34) s/o Behari Lal Chouhan of village Bally Durgapur, PS Nischinda, District Howrah, Soma Chouhan w/o Gobinda Roy of Hemanta Nagar, Boatghar, PS Ghola, District North 24 parganas A/P in the house of Vinod Chouhan and seized 38 kgs of Ganja, one Maruti Suzuki Car, one improvised fire arms loaded with 5 rds live cartridge from their possession.

c) Reference Shasan PS GDE No. 659/17 dated 20.12.17

On 19/20.12.2017 officer and force of CID, WB held raid at Shasan PS area, North 24 parganas and recovered one improvised single barrel gun fitted with detachable magazine and one improvised DBBL gun along with 6 rds of live cartridge and 8 rds of live 8mm cartridge.

d) Reference Diomond Harbour PS Case No. 240/17 dated 24.05.2017 u/s 363/365 IPC.

On 17/18.12.2017 night, a team of CID, WB assisted District Police and joint raid at Ghaziabad, UP and at New Delhi and arrested the persons namely Muniya (41) w/o Lt. Rajkumar Yadav of House No. 357, Gali No. 5, Premnagar, Laxmi Garden, Indrapuri, Ghaziabad, UP and her two (2) sons namely Sonu Yadav @ Kishan & Veneeth and they also arrested one Gita Dey (45) d/o Lt. Sankarlal Dey of Daspara, PS Habra, District North 24 parganas A/P 2nd Floor, 58 No. Kotha G.B. Road, PS Kamla Market, New Delhi and Hema Dey d/o Raju Dey of Jhuggi near Sealdah RS, PS Sealdah GRPS A/P 2nd Floor, 58 No. Kotha G.B. Road, PS Kamla Market, New Delhi.

e) Reference Bhadreswar PS Case No. 441/17 dated 22.11.17 u/s 302/34 IPC & 25/27 Arms Act (Bhadreswar Municipality Chairman Murder Case)

On 10.12.17 officer and force of CID, WB held raid and arrested three (3) accused persons namely (i) Raju Kumar Shaw (ii) Baban Jadav (iii) Prabhu Narayan Chowdhury. f) Reference Tiljala PS Case No. 223/2001 dated 25.07.2001 u/s 364A/307 IPC (Khadim Case)

On 11.12.2017 Ld. Addl. Sessions Judge 2nd Court Alipur passed order Life imprisonment of eight (8) accused persons namely (1) Arsad Khan & Aslam, (2) Mojammel SK, (3) Mijaney Rahaman @ Sajahan, (4) Tarif Mohammad @ Naim, (5) Ishaqu Ahmed @ Dilsad, (6) Noor Mohammad @ Sahabaj, (7) Aktar Hossain, (8) Jalal Molla @ Babubhai and also fine of Rs. 2,00,000/- each.
