Eight of the marks rank in the top NCAA Outdoor (M/W) 62nd (tied)/n/a five in seven events. Juniors Julius Bor and Joel Rop hold the No. 2 and 3 marks in the 1,500 meters, respectively. Sophomore Moses Kiptoo is fourth in the 10,000 meters, 2010 Team Finishes while junior Fred Samoei also ranks fourth in the 800 meters. Senior Andrew Kirwa and SEC Indoor (M/W) 7th/8th sophomore Tyler Campbell check in at No. 4 in the 3,000 meter steeplechase and No. 5 NCAA Indoor (M/W) 26th (tied)/60th (tied) in the high jump, respectively. The 4x100 and 4x400 meter relays are both No. 5 in the conference. 2010 Coaching Staff The women currently bolster 12 student-athletes, in 15 events, ranking among Men the top eight in the SEC in their respective events. JAMES DOUBLES AT CARIFTA GAMES: Representing his native country of Grenada, Women Alabama freshman sprinter Kirani James claimed his fourth consecutive 400 meter Head Coach Sandy Fowler CARIFTA gold medal, April 3, at the CARIFTA Games in George Town, Grand Cayman. Assistant Coach Scott Roberts His time of 45.02 is the second-fastest time in the world this year. His time broke his Assistant Coach Randy Hasenbank own meet record that he set at last year’s CARIFTA Games as well as set a new school Trainer Jackie Takaki record. The 17-year old broke a 32-year old 400 meter school record and now holds Managers Lance Lucas, Bradley Shupe both the indoor and outdoor records. The former outdoor school record of 45.12 was held by Darroll Gatson, set in 1978.
