GIOVEDì 28 GENNAIO 2016 The Vaccines, uno tra i gruppi più interessanti della scena indie rock mondiale, arrivano, a tre anni di distanza, per due date italiane. Nuovo tour e nuovo album per i quattro di West London, ci sarà la possibilità di The Vaccines: in concerto per due godere del loro rock contagioso venerdì 11 MARZO al New Age imperdibili date a marzo Club di Roncade (TV) e sabato 12 MARZO al Fabrique di via Fantoli a Milano. A Roncade l'11 marzo al New Age Club e il 12 al Fabrique di Milano Maggio 2015 segna il ritorno discografico della band che fa uscire "English Graffiti", diciotto brani registrati nell'inverno del 2014 al Tarbox Road Studio di Dave Fridmann a New York e prodotti dagli stessi The Vaccines, da Dave Fridmann (Flaming Lips, Tame Impala, MGMT) e Cole CRISTIAN PEDRAZZINI MGN (Ariel Pink, Beck, Nite Jewel). Questo è il terzo disco della band che esordì nel 2011 con "What Did You Expect From The Vaccines", album vincitore di un NME Award e nominato ai Brit Awards. Con "Come Of Age", il secondo album, la band ha invece raggiunto i vertici delle classifiche inglesi. Algorithmic Detection and Analysis of Vaccine-Denialist Sentiment Clusters in Social Networks Bjarke Mønsteda, Sune Lehmanna,∗ a Technical University of Denmark, Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, 2800 Lyngby, Denmark Abstract Vaccination rates are decreasing in many areas of the world, and outbreaks of preventable diseases tend to follow in areas with particular low rates. Much research has been devoted to improving our understanding of the motivations behind vaccination decisions and the effects of various types of information offered to skeptics, no large-scale study of the structure of online vaccination discourse have been conducted. Here, we offer an approach to quantitatively study the vaccine discourse in an online system, exemplified by Twitter. We use train a deep neural network to predict tweet vaccine sentiments, surpassing state-of-the-art performance, at- taining two-class accuracy of 90:4%, and a three-class F1 of 0:762. We identify profiles which consistently produce strongly anti- and pro-vaccine content. We find that strongly anti-vaccine profiles primarily post links to Youtube, and commercial sites that make money on selling alternative health products, repre- senting a conflict of interest. Voorwoord Het jaar 2011 was voor Buma Cultuur een jaar waarin veel van de organisatie gevraagd werd. Met de lancering van twee nieuwe evenementen in 2010 en de start van nog een nieuw evenement – Buma Music in Motion – in 2011, moest blijken of de herstructurering van de organisatie de juiste was. De herverdeling van verantwoordelijkheden en efficiëntere verdeling van de werkzaamheden hadden in 2011 echter als resultaat dat de drie nieuwe evenementen goed uitgevoerd konden worden met het bestaande personeels bestand. De missie van Buma Cultuur is nog steeds dezelfde: ‘Het ondersteunen en promoten van het Nederlands muziekauteursrecht in zowel Nederland als in de belangrijkste exportmarkten voor de Nederlandse (niet per se Nederlands talige) muziek, met als doel enerzijds het aandeel op de Nederlandse markt te vergroten en anderzijds een hogere inkomsten- stroom door het gebruik van Nederlands muziekauteursrecht uit buitenlandse markten te stimuleren.

The Vaccines 2018-01-04 14:17 CET The Vaccines släpper singeln “I Can’t Quit” och albumet “Combat Sports” Nu finns nya låten “I Can’t Quit” ute från The Vaccines kommande album “Combat Sports” som släpps den 30 mars 2018. Albumet är The Vaccines fjärde i raden och låten hade premiär igår kväll på Annie Mac’s Radio 1 som hennes “Hottest Record”. Med "I Can't Quit" och albumet “Combat Sports” återvänder bandet till sina rötter och levererar allt i från Vaccines-rock till powerpop. Det är en kombination som visat sig vara framgångsrik tidigare inte minst när 15 av deras singlar varit A-listade på Radio 1, de uppträtt på Later…with Jools Holland hela fyra gånger och dessutom gjort en rad hyllade festivalspelningar och konserter, däribland fyllt London 02 Arena. The Vaccines har också varit nominerade på BRIT Awards för Best Live Band samt vunnit en NME Award för Best New Band.
