Conformity to Christ is the preoccupation of the Christian Life. The summit of that conformity is taking up the Cross and following Him to Calvary and connecting ourselves to that Perfect Act of Worship & Redemption– the Sacrifice of the Son.

The Sacraments of Initiation begin this life, with Penance and Reconciliation and the Eucharist sustaining us as we go through the growth and time. The Consolation of the Cross

The Anointing of the Sick completes our conformity to the death and Resurrection of Christ in a real and uniquely situated way and completes the holy anointing that marks the whole Christian Life.
