In 2012 the Secur Selfstorage Group opened its 9th self storage facility in the middle of Berlin. With more than 1,660 storage units and a rentable area of 6,400 m², it is not only one of the biggest facilities in Europe, it is also the first and only self storage facility in Germany that has been awarded a “Green Building” certificate from the European Commission.
