Weiss, M.D. 10 years ago, it was clear she had a vision that needed to be realized: Breastcancer.org. Like many great ideas, hers was born through a moment of inspiration … at her kitchen table. And it was fueled by her passionate commitment to helping women and their loved ones face the challenges of breast cancer. Now, I look back in awe to see that she and Breastcancer.org have helped 28 million people overcome these challenges. Increasingly, as women have less time with their doctors and more treatment options and decisions to make, our medical content and online community are critical components of their difficult journey.
