Having staged a successful CHI Al Shaqab event just re- cently, Al Shaqab, one of the finest equestrian facilities in the world is now all geared up to play host again – this time for another prestigious and one of the world’s most popular showjumping series the 2021 Longines Global Champions Tour (LGCT) from Thursday (March 4-6). The opening leg of LGCT 2021 will kick off the season at the magnificent outdoor Lon- gines Arena at Al Shaqab. As many as 48 international riders are joining the CSI5* event with some of the most dominant names on the circuit present including Pieter Devos (BEL), (GER), Maikel van der Vleuten (NED), Penelope Leprevost (FRA), Peder Fredricson (SWE), Chris- tian Ahlmann (GER), Edwina Tops-Alexander (AUS), Greg- ory Wathelet (BEL) and Eric Lamaze (CAN).
