Brown, Culver and Willis all took first place finishes while Latham was not far behind, finishing second in 12:00PM MEN’S HIGH JUMP the women’s triple jump. Texas Tech currently claims four conference leading jumps marks, two of which lead 1:30PM MEN’S PREMIERE DISCUS 2:30PM WOMEN’S PREMIERE DISCUS nationally. The number one conference spots in high jump (2.24m/7-4.25) and long jump (8.14m/26-8.50) on 2:30PM MEN’S PREMIERE POLE VAULT the men’s side are claimed by Culver and Brown. Triple jump (13.46m/44-2) and high jump (1.80m/5-10.75) are 3:00PM WOMEN’S HIGH JUMP dominated by Latham and Willis on the women’s side. Brown and Culver also have world-ranked marks sitting at 3:00PM MEN’S LONG JUMP 3:30PM MEN’S JAVELIN third and fifth respectively. 4:00PM WOMEN’S LONG JUMP 4:45PM MEN’S OPEN SHOT PUT 6:00PM WOMEN’S JAVELIN RELAYS AT RELAYS 6:00PM WOMEN’S OPEN SHOT PUT The 4x100 and 4x400 relays yielded impressive results on both the men’s and women’s side last weekend at 6:00PM WOMEN’S PREMIERE POLE VAULT Texas Relays. The men’s mile relay notched a new No. 5 Texas Tech outdoor record time of 3:03.28 to end the 7:00PM MEN’S TRIPLE JUMP 7:00PM WOMEN’S TRIPLE JUMP meet. Kyle Collins, Steven Champlin, Charles Jones and Vincent Crisp claimed third overall. This relay team also 7:30PM MEN’S PREMIERE SHOT PUT holds a No. 2 conference spot, No. 4 national spot and No. 6 world spot. Maygen Smith, Marika Brown, Sara Limp 8:15PM WOMEN’S PREMIERE SHOT PUT SATURDAY RUNNING and Mackenzie Frank ran in the 4x400 invitational heat claiming third-place with their time of 3:35.80. The 4x100 2:17PM MEN TIMED FINAL110H relays pushed for strong times in the final round clocking 39.76 and 44.94 runs. The men’s fourth-place finishing 2:38PM WOMEN TIMED FINAL100H relay was composed of Trevin Chambers, Steven Champlin, Kyle Collins and Andrew Hudson. I’Shunique Hamil- 2:53PM MEN 4X100 2:57PM WOMEN 4X100 ton, Marika Brown, Tiffani Johnson and Sara Limp headed the women’s relay for eighth place. 3:27PM MEN 400M 3:40PM WOMEN 400M NO. 11 RANKING 3:55PM MEN 100M The men’s team snagged the No. 11 spot in week one’s USTFCCCA computer rankings. The men left Austin, Texas, 4:26PM WOMEN 400H with three world-ranked marks , two of which are top-five. The men’s 4x400 clocked a 3:03.28 to sit them sixth 4:35PM MEN 200M 4:51PM WOMEN 200M in the world, fourth in the nation and second in conference. Trey Culver clinched another high jump title at 5:10PM MEN 800M 2.24m/7-4.25 putting him fifth in the world and first in the NCAA. Brown hit a long jump mark of 8.14m/26-8.50 ranking him No. 7:55PM MEN PREMIERE 800M 3 in the world. This jump by Brown also leads the nation by over half a foot.
