Israeli Settler Violence

 A group of Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian construction workers near the main entrance of Burqa village, north of the northern city of Nablus, and injured three. Israeli settlers invaded Palestinian lands near the former Homesh settlement. The settlers hurled stones at Palestinian construction workers in the area, in addition to firing many live rounds. Three , identified as Yazan Kheirallah, Hamada Barqawi, and Wadea’ Zeidan Daghlas, suffered cuts and bruises and added that their wounds were described as mild. (IMEMC 8 September 2020)

 A group of settlers attacked Palestinian property, causing damage, in Huwwara town, south of Nablus. The attack took place after the Israeli Occupation Army (IOA) closed Huwwara military roadblock, preventing the Palestinians from crossing while allowing the colonists to freely roam the area.  An Israeli settler, struck a Palestinian child with his car, near the Kiryat Arba settlement, built on Palestinian-owned lands of Hebron, southern occupied West Bank. The settler ran over the child with his vehicle, and proceeded to escape responsibility, heading towards the Kiryat Arba settlement. The young boy suffered a moderate injury, before taking him to a nearby hospital. (IMEMC 8 September 2020)

 More than 80 Jewish settlers and five intelligence officers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem under heavy police protection. The settlers listened to an explanation from the tour guide about the Judaizing narrative of the holy Islamic Mosque. They strolled through the courtyards of the Mosque before leaving from the Magharaba Gate which is only used by settlers. (PALINFO 8 September 2020)

Confiscation & Razing of lands

 Israeli occupation Army (IOA) continued to uproot Palestinian farmlands, east of the ath-Thaheriyya town, south of Hebron, in the southern part of

the occupied West Bank. The IOA are uprooting lands in Khirbat Zannouta area, owned by the families of at-Till, Jabarin, and the as- Samamra. The IOA is preparing to confiscate the privately-owned Palestinian farmlands to expand the Industrial Zone of the so-called “Regional Council of Settlements” in the area. The IOA closed the entire area and attacked many Palestinians trying to enter their lands, in addition to threatening to abduct them and impose fines. (IMEMC 8 September 2020)

 Israeli military bulldozers razed Palestinian land in the village of Haris, north of the northern West Bank city of Salfit, in order to expand the settlement of . The bulldozers razed a large area west of the village as the military government prepares to expand the aforementioned settlement. (WAFA 8 September 2020)
