JALYN ARMOUR-DAVIS ST. PAUL’S EPISOPAL HS (6-1, 175)

2017: Jalyn opened the season with a 52-yard return for a TD versus St. Stanislaus (MS). He suffered a knee injury, had surgery and missed three weeks but returned to the line-up Oct. 13. CAREER: Also a and kick return specialist, Jalyn had 31 tackles and three picks as a junior and was named All-State and to the All-Coastal Team. A track standout as well, he won the Class 5A outdoor state champion- ship in the 100 meters (10.87) and triple jump in 2017. He was second in the TJ as a sophomore. He also plays basketball. CARDAMIEN DANIELS HOMEWOOD HIGH SCHOOL Defensive Back (6-3, 180)

2017: Has been a mainstay on a allowing just 8.0 ppg this season. Had two picks in a 38-0 win over defending 6A state champ Ramsay. CAREER: Was named to the All-Metro (Birmingham) Team and the All Over-the- Mountain Team in 2016. C.D. also plays basketball for the Patriots. He gained notoriety as an 11-year old when he posted a video on you tube of him dunking a basketball COLLEGE CHOICE: Still considering a long list including Mississippi State, Mem- phis, Auburn, Arkansas State, Florida Atllantic, Tulane, Troy University, Georgia State, UAB, Samford, Jacksonville State and Mercer. JAKOREY HAWKINS R.E. LEE-MONTGOMERY HS Defensive Back (6-3, 180)

2017: Has 32 tackles, a sack, 3 forced and has returned 1 inter- ception for through 7 games this season. CAREER: His career totals include 107 tackles and 5 picks in 38 games. Jakorey was selected to the Montgomery Advertiser All-Metro Team in 2016. He also plays basketball and runs track for the Generals helping the 4x100 relay team finish third in the state last spring. KEVONTAE RUGGS R.E. LEE-MONTGOMERY HS Defensive Back (6-4, 205)

2017: Has played strong safety and this season for the Class 7A Generals. He has 18 catches for 439 yards and 2 TDs at receiver, 16 tackles and two sacks on defense. CAREER: Was named All-Metro as a junior. After 16 career games his to- tals are 76 tackles, 2 sacks and, interceptions, 18 catches for 439 yards, 2 TDs. His brother Henry is a freshman at Alabama. CARDAVION MYERS PIEDMONT HIGH SCHOOL Defensive Back (6-0, 165)

2017: Cardavion moved to QB this season and has led the two-time de- fending 3A state champs to seven straight wins after a season-opening loss. He has rushed for 1,071 yards and 16 TDs and has completed 43-of- 65 passes for 896 yards and 13 TDs with just 3 interceptions. CAREER: A starter in the secondary on the Bulldogs’ 2015 and 2016 state champions, he has 234 career tackles, 12 interceptions, 51 pass break-ups and 4 blocked kicks. He is also a track standout. STARLING THOMAS RAMSAY HIGH SCHOOL Defensive Back (5-11, 170) 2017: Plays both ways in the secondary and at receiver for the defending Class 6A state champion Rams. CAREER: Selected All-State, All-City and All-Region last season helping Ram- say win the Class 6A state championship. A standout in track, he holds the school record for 100-meter dash. Won the 5A state outdoor 200 and 400 races in 2015 & 2016. COLLEGE CHOICE: Committed to University of Alabama-Birmingham (UAB). HEAD COACH: Rueben Nelson.
