This is no small task, for it must be borne in mind that the Rodeo is truly an im- promptu performance and completely unrehearsed. It takes executive ability to handle the hundreds of cowboy and cowgirl contestants and at the same time look ·after many hundred head of stock And it takes great showmanship to make up a program consisting of a series of contests and arrange it in such a manner that it results in a smooth presentation and thoroughly thrilling en- tertainment.
