Participation in the + Project

Academic Year 2018-2019

For the academic year 2017-2018, a team composed of faculty from the Design Program and Libraries and ETS staff conducted a Pilot in a number of classes incorporating use of the iPad Pro + Apple Pencil. Beginning fall 2018, the Pilot is transitioning to a Service offered jointly by ETS and the Libraries. IPads + Apple Pencils are now available to any instructor interested in utilizing them in their courses. The team will continue to meet this year to develop curricula, accept proposals for longer term use of iPads + Apple Pencils, and share student work. If you use iPads + Pencils in your course, we ask that you share your experience with the team.

The Media Center manages access to the iPads + Apple Pencils. For the beginning of fall 2018 we will have ● 18 iPad Pros (12.9-inch) + Apple Pencils available to all, in the SF Media Center ● 5 iPad Pros (10.7-inch) + Apple Pencils set aside for faculty-only use, in the SF Media Center.
