This, third time that the competition has been run, was the lucky one for Paston photographer, Paul Damen. Paul is a retired professional photographer who still enjoys taking photographs for his own enjoyment as well as raising funds for charity with his images. Readers of the Crab Tales will know his work very well as he is a very valued contributer.

He says: “The theme for the competition was to capture the atmosphere of the occasion, so I aimed to include the people as well as the fireworks and the pier, bringing them all together in one all- encompassing image.” The prize of a flat screen TVwas donated by Hughes Electrical of Cromer members of Cromer Town Council & Cromer Fire- works Committee attended the presentation. Paperback: 352 pages. Publisher: Piatkus New Ed edition (8th June 2006) ISBN-13: 978-0749936570 Author Review By Gill Litson I have been asked to give my opinion on a book but I have decided to review an author her name is Julia Quinn. She writes of the Regency Period, romantic comedies. She writes with her tongue in her cheek and makes one laugh out loud, she is also a bit risqué and there is always a good story never repeated. I would recommend to start with the Bridgerton series about a family of eight children of an aristocratic family. You will be hooked and when you are I will give you the name of another writer I like very much in a similar style. To order please phone Jarrold on: 01263 512 190 If you have a favourite book that you would like to recommend, please contact: [email protected]
