The Coordinating staff member is Mrs.S.Venkata Lakshmi. About 190 students participated in this Guest Lecture. Mr.Vasantharaj Thangaraj, Senior Project Manager, Sysveda Information Technology Pvt, Ltd, handled the Session. PANIMALAR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY Guest Lecture on Embedded Computing Technology Department of ECE, PIT IEEE SB in association with IEEE RAS, SP, IAS, IES SBC’s organized a guest Lecture programme on Embedded Computing Technology on 03rd January 2018.Our college alumni Mr. Khadar Shareef, Embedded Software Engineer at Continental, Singapore delivered the lecture. During his talk he briefed about embedded computing technologies available in industrial structure and motivated students to peruse in that direction. Dr.M.P.Chitra, Professor HOD welcomed the guest and honored him with a memento. PANIMALAR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY Guest Lecture on IoT for Health Care Department of ECE, PIT IEEE SB in association with IEEE RAS, SP, IAS, IES SBC’s organized a guest Lecture programme on IoT for Health care on 03rd January 2018. Our college alumni Mr. Aravind, Athena Health India, Chennai delivered the lecture. During his talk he briefed about Recent Technological development in medical field and how engineering helps Medicine. Dr.M.P.Chitra, Professor HOD welcomed the guest and honored him with a memento. Short Term Course Department of ECE in association with IEEE SB , IEEE EDS, IEEE SP organized a Short Term Course on Analog IC Design for Second year ECE during 18th Jan to 24th Jan 2018. Ms.R.Prathipa, Ms.Jansi Rani Coordinated and conducted the event.Students were introduced with designing analog circuits using TI sponsored ASLKV kit PANIMALAR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY Guest Lecture on GIS and the Fourth Industrial Revolution Department of CSE in association with IEEE SB, IEEE CS conducted the Guest Lecture on GIS and the Fourth Industrial Revolution on 5th Jan 2018 in association with the WEB BRAINS CLUB with a very high competitive spirit to participant and with the strong determination to include their achievements & accomplishments to their resumes. The Coordinators for the Session are MATAN P , EBENEZAR SAMRAJ JOSEPH K and staff member is Mr. T.A. Mohana Prakash. About 70 students participated. The Session was handled by Mr.MAHARAJAN from Red Planet Consulting , Chennai . PANIMALAR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY Guest Lecture Department of Computer science and Engineering in association with IEEE SB, CSI, IEEE Computer society , Information Theory Society organized a Guest Lecture on Patent filing in India by Mr.A.Raja, Assistant Controller of Patents And Design in Indian Patent Office, Chennai on 24th January 2018. He delivered the Knowledge about importance of filing our new innovations as filing patent ,and he motivated the students to file patent with all the procedure and formalities. Event is coordinated by Dr.V.Subedha, Dr.T.Kalaichelvi, Mrs.S.Venkata Lakshmi of CSE Department. PANIMALAR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY Motivational Talk Department of IT & CSE in association with IEEE, IEEE CS , ITS & CSI organized Motivational Speech about Placement for II and III Year students on 25th Jan 2018. Talk was delivered by Mr. M. Jeeva, Software Consultant, Microsoft, Hyderabad.Mr. Aniruth Sabapathy, Program Engineer, Mercedes-Benz Research and development India Pvt. Ltd.,Bengaluru. PANIMALAR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY Oracle Certified Java Professional Certification Course Department of IT & CSE in association with IEEE & CSI organized Six days certification course on Java for the III Year students during 29th Jan to 03rd Feb 2018. Around 10 students attended the course. The course was conducted by Mr.P.Prakash Eyeopen Technologies, Chennai. PANIMALAR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY Guest Lecture on Expert System-Artificial Intelligence Department of CSE IEEE SB, IEEE Computer society, CSI organized a Guest lecture on Expert System-Artificial Intelligence on 07th FEB 2018. Dr.S.MuthuRaj Kumar, Associate Professor, Dept. of Computer Technology, Anna University, MIT Chennai delivered the lecture. Sudents of CSE,IT,ECE, EEE participated in the Lecture. They learnt about expert system, AI Architecture, AI problem of MYCIN and Knowledge Acquisition. The session is initiated by Dr.V.Subedha HOD/CSE, coordinated by Dr.T.Kalaichelvi Prof/CSE, Mrs.M.AbiramiAsst.Prof/CSE, and Mrs.S.PanimalarAsst.Prof/CSE. PANIMALAR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY Extempore: Extempore enriches quick thinking and reasoning and to instil the same skills in every individual, an initiative was taken by the department of ECE in association with IEEE SB, IEEE PCS & IEEE TEMS SBC’S to conduct Extempore contest for the students on 8th Feb 2018 that sharpened their communication and oratorical skills. Miss.S.Priyadharshini of second year bagged the first prize in the contest. Mr.M.Arun SBC & Ms. S.Saranya, Assistant Professor ECE coordinated the event PANIMALAR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY Guest Lecture on Robotics Department of IT in collaboration with IEEE, IEEE CS , ITS & Computer Society of India organized Guest Lecture on Robotics on 12.02.2018. Mr.H.Balaji Chief executive Officer, Prag Robotics Private Limited, delivered the talk. Mr.Winston Raja, Assistant professor IT coordinated the event. About 122 students participated and benefited. PANIMALAR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY General quiz contest: IEEE SB, IEEE PCS & IEEE TEMS SBC’S organized General Quiz contest was conducted by department of ECE for the students on 12th Feb 2018. A team of Mr. S.Suresh & Mr.T.Raakesh won the first prize. A team of M.Janani & I Iswarya won Second prize. A team of Miss.S,Malathi & S.Harshitha won the third prize.. Mr.M.Arun SBC & Mrs. D.Kalaiarasi Assistant Professor ECE coordinated the event PANIMALAR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY Circuit Debugging: Department of ECE IEEE PIT SB, IEEE EDC organized Circuit Debugging Contest on 13th Feb 2018. A team of Miss. Sinega.S and Vihasini won the First prize. A team of Mr. Yuvaraj.R ,Mr.Vivein Xavier & Mr.Rakesh won the Second prize and A team of. A team of Mr.Benhur Rodriguez.M, Naveen.K and Suresh.S won the third prize. Mr.M.Arun SBC & Mr.L.Ashokkumar, Associate Professor ECE coordinated the event PANIMALAR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY Workshop on Cyber Security Department of CSE PIT CSI, IEEE SB, IEEE CS, ITS SBC’s organized One Day Workshop on Cyber Security for III Year CSE on 13-02-2018. Resource Person of the event was S.P.Vasantha Kumar, Infoziant Systems Pvt Ltd. Around 70 participants participated and benefitted .Dr.V.Subedha, HoD CSE, Mrs. S. Panimalar,Mrs.S.AnnieSheryl,Mrs. SujaRajeswari coordinated the event.The workshop was conducted to familiarize about the anti-virus, anti-spam and anti-spyware tools currently available, to learn the latest Internet security techniques, firewalls etc., PANIMALAR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY Guest lecture on GATE Preparation & its Opportunities: IEEE-SB & Department of ECE organized a Guest lecture on GATE Preparation & its Opportunities for Second Year ECE Students on 13th Feb 2018. Mr.Syed Saleem, Regional Head, The GATE Academy Pvt. Ltd. Chennai delivered the lecture. The lecture had interactive sessions with the students to help them gain knowledge and clarify their doubts regarding the GATE examination preparation. Around 185 students participated & benefited. Mr.M.Arun, Assistant Professor coordinated the event. PANIMALAR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY Guest lecture on Preparation for GRE /TOEFL: Department of ECE, IEEE-SB, IEEE-WIE organised a Guest Lecture on Preparation for GRE/TOEFL exam preparation on 14th Feb 2018 for Second Year Students. Mr. Mervyn Rajesh & his team from Manya Education Pvt., Limited Chennai delivered the lecture. The aspirants with the aim to establish a deeper understanding of how to respond to TOEFL and GRE exam tasks which had overwhelmed response from the students of the department. Around 185 students participated & benefitted. Mr.M.Arun, Assistant Professor coordinated the event. PANIMALAR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY Guest Lecture on Higher Studies Department of IT&CSE in collaboration with IEEE, IEEE CS , IEEE ITS & Computer Society of India organized Guest Lecturer on Higher Studies for Third year students on 14.02.2018. Mr. MuraliKarthikeyan, Head - Academics (GATE), T.I.M.E Education Chennai Private Ltd, elaborated the various opportunities available after higher studies and how to prepare for it. Dr.V.Subedha&Dr.A.JoshiHead’s Of CSE & IT coordinated the event. About 350 students participated and benefited. PANIMALAR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY C- Coding Contest: To make students industry ready and to enhance their problem solving abilities department of ECE Panimalar institute of technology with IEEE-SB, IEEE-WIE, IEEE CS, ITS SBC’S organized a C coding contest on 14th Feb 2018. A team of Mr. Paruchuri Yogesh & Mr.Yashwanth Babu won the first prize. A team of Miss. Shiny Kirubaseel.J.E and Miss.S.Sneha & A team of Miss. Indhumathi.G & Miss.M.Deepika won the second prize. A team of Miss.A.Shiny & Miss. D. Vidhya won the third prize. Mr.M.Arun SBC & Mrs.I Poonguzhali , Assistant Professor ECE coordinated the event. PANIMALAR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY Technical quiz: To encourage students look beyond their textual knowledge and establish a relationship between theory and application of the learnt concepts, Department of ECE PIT IEEE-SB, IEEE-WIE, and IEEE IMS & OES SBC’S organized a Technical Quiz contest on15th Feb 2018. A team of Miss.M.Deepika & Miss.L.Oviya won the first prize. Miss.S,Priyadharshini & Miss.S.S.Sangeetha won the second prize. Miss.Mandiyam Vaishnavi & Miss.P.Prithi won the third prize.
