JUNE 21–23, 2016 WASHINGTON, D.C. Derrick Feldmann MCON Founder & Achieve President

WELCOME TO MCON.

Maybe you’re interested in “doing good” but don’t know how or where to start. Or maybe others are interested in your cause but you don’t know how to get them to actually act for it. Whatever your scenario, you’re in exactly the right place. This year we carefully selected speakers and panelists who will inspire your thinking. They represent little-known and well-known individuals who want to rethink current approaches to social change. We’ve also brought together some of the most interesting and unfamiliar faces to the social good discussion. And, of course, we couldn’t come to such a unique and opportunistic place for social and government innovators and entrepreneurs without embracing this connection between the political sphere and social good. As you attend this year’s sessions, seek out the knowledge, beliefs and ideas you can use to inspire more people to move individuals from interest to action. Ask speakers why they think their approach and ideas are worthy. Discuss with fellow participants what has worked and failed. MCON is about the unifying voice we have together for social change. Here, no matter which sector you come from or the organization or company you represent, we all have the opportunity to learn from our mistakes and successes as a way to bridge people’s desires to do good with the actual steps they take to further the issues we represent. This is your chance to learn more, do more and change more – for good. JUNE 21–23, 2016 WASHINGTON, D.C. EVENT EMCEES 1
