Under sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the Tamil Nadu ACQUISITION OF LANDS Acquisition of Land for Industrial Purposes Act, 1997 (Tamil Nadu Act 10 of 1999), the Government of Tamil Nadu [G.O. Ms. No. 26, Transport (I.1), 31st January 2018, hereby acquires the lands in 27.U.Maramangalam Village, ¬î 18, «ýM÷‹H, F¼õœÀõ˜ Ý‡´-2049.] Omalur Taluk of Salem District as specifi ed in the Schedule No. II(2)/TRA/116(b-1)/2018. below and measuring 0.98.50 hectare (or) 9850 Sq.M to the same, a little more or less needed for industrial purposes, to The Government of Tamil Nadu having been satisfi ed that wit,for formation of Double way Broad – Guage Railway line the lands specifi ed in the schedule below have to be acquired by changing the existing single way Broad-Guage Railway for industrial purposes to wit to the formation of Double way line from Omalur – Mettur Dam.
