Winner of 8 TONY Awards, including “Best Musical”, SPRING AWAKENING is a coming of age musical filled with the energy and passion of youth. Adapted from Frank Wedekind’s controversial 1891 original, the musical follows a group of young people on their perilous journey to adulthood. Fusing the moral values of the 1890’s with the rebellious sound of the 21st century - an electrifying roller coaster ride of emotions. Vienna’s English Theatre’s Youth Ensemble provides an opportunity for local student actors and young professionals to expand their performance skills in an English language acting ensemble. We are proud to present such a talented young cast; including Rose Alaba (Puls4 Popstar Finalist 2012) and Chris Aguilar (Puls4 Popstar Finalist 2012 and currently in the semi-finals of The Voice 2013 at SCS).
